I can't believe how easy it was to set up the printer to my mac laptop. It was a little more effort to hook up bluetooth, which was a little odd to me but it wasn't hard. The directions are a little off but it's easy enough to figure them out. I have to give Kudos to their customer service. I wasn't sure which paper to order so I reached out to their customer service and received a prompt email back with links to paper and a link to instructions for using single sheet thermal paper (using the single sheet was exactly what I thought but I didn't quite do it correctly before the instructions). I needed something for travel and this fits the bill perfectly. Easy to set up, good print quality and super light and portable. Great find.

Great printer however, you need an app on your phone to print in order to use. Doesn’t hook up to your phone like a normal printer. When print did your work will scroll up. However, you should know that when you buy it because the paper is round. It works for my purposes, but if you want something, this is not what you would use to hand to a client but from what I use it for it’s perfectly fine.

It works, but the printout quality is mediocre at best. Needed a compact emergency printer from smartphone and decided to try this one, which is just re-labelled Phomemo M832. Indeed, it uses the Phomemo app. However, the Phomemo app, while free, has some subscribe-to-unlock features, which is a bit annoying. Those features are not essential, mostly AI powered "editing" features. The printer came with ONE roll of paper, which is fine if you only print occasionally for emergencies. However, the print quality is a bit... meh. You can supposedly choose 3 different print intensities, but even on highest intensity, the prinout is only good for text, not gradients or shades. When you attempt to print shades or gradients, the shades came out uneven depending on amount of text within the dark blocks. However, the printing is rather quiet... a bit of muted whine depending on the amount of dark pixels being forced onto the thermal paper. And if the page is mostly text, turn on "enhanced text" mode in the print, and the text would come out a bit better. Doesn't work on shades or pictures though. The size of the printer is not bad, a bit heavier than you'd expect due to internal batteries. One does need to charge the printer once in a while with USB-C port but it will work without cable if you need it to print completely without wires. The Phomemo app connects to the printer via BLE, and connection is not always the best. But usually power cycle the printer will allow the app to reconnect properly and allow printing. Main problem is paper handling. The included roll of thermal paper works. But you can't choose "letter paper". You basically have to let it print, tear-off, then trim to letter size. I tried the page-fold thermal paper, supposedly 200 sheets of letter sized paper. I even set the paper type properly in the app, and there are supposedly "marks" on the backsize to help the printer fight the page sizes. However, printing on fanfold paper doesn't align on the page, so you end up tear off the portions even as your printout crosses the actual fold (printer basically ignores the alignment marks even though it claims to be obeying them). The pricing of these printers are just... nuts. The same printer was sold by various vendors for different princes, from 50 to 100 and everything in between. All in all, good for emergency print only, and if you need to take something with you. You can properly get an inkjet printer that produces MUCH better quality prints on regular paper, albeit, for a bit higher price.

I bought this portable printer just for emergency a little over a year. I Used at home only just for few documents that needed to be printed. It came with a sample roll of paper. Once that roll finished, started printed very light and not legible at all. Customer service on this chat asked me to send pics and videos which I did. Then I have received a email from customer service with a ticket number. I had to go all over again, sending repeatedly fotos and videos and once they realized the warranty finished they just say that they can not help. Tooky time to do this since I really used the printer maybe 5 times,it's been in its box and storage safe. Literally new. I do own a zebra thermal label printer for over 20 years and still is good. This phomemo is just cute.

This printer is by Phomemo, I’ve been using it for some time to print my music sheets. I did have an issue with the left side of the printer not printing properly. After reaching out to their customer service we figured out that the left side wasn’t closing down all the way and causing the print to be missing. There is a time difference but they have been great at helping trouble shoot the issue. I will update this message if there are any new findings. The printer it self has been very easy to use and love how much space it saves on my desk. I had a brother laser printer before that took up half of my desk, so I’m happy with the small size.

First of all, the printer is exactly what I needed; yes, it works beautifully. I got the purple one, which is lighter than it looks in the photos but still cute. My only problem was with the installation. For clarification, I use Linux Mint. Spent hours trying to install this according to their instructions, but the files I downloaded and those shown in the video were not even the same? Finally I had to use my terminal to find the executable files and be able to run install. Thought I should come here and let you know in case anyone is having the same problem as me and thinks maybe it's not compatible with your version. It probably is, you just have to ignore their video
