    • iRobot knows what they are doing
This is my third robot vacuum cleaner. My first was a generic Chinese brand, the second was a Shark with the self emptying feature which was a bonus. But this vacuum mop combo is amazing. It's primarily a vacuum. You can swap bins when you want to mop. Of course, with any robot, you must train it. Once trained properly, you can let it do it's thing autonomously. This is the not the highest end model but it does everything I need it to do. I was especially impressed by the mopping which I was a bit skeptical of at first. When purchasing, you should get all of the additional replacement parts such as the brushes, filters and bags as well. I found that I've always had to replace all of those for all of the brands I've used. I have multiple pets (casts and dots) which, of course, bring their own mess such as pet hair and food crumbs(Milk Bones to be exact). So having a robot vacuum and mop through out the week helps keep the place nice and tidy. Maybe I'll get the Brava which just mops later at some point. I highly recommend this product. I could have saved myself a considerable amount of money but just choosing Rumba to begin with. ... show more

    • I want my money back!
I own this product for 6 months now. During these months it was nothing but struggle. The vacuum struggles to stay in my wifi network. It fails to map the room properly, missing 50% of the space every time or committing suicide falling downstairs. It requires the base to be set in the prime location of my bedroom, or otherwise it fails to dock. Even with dock located along its own dedicated wall the vacuum still struggles to find its base and fails to dock, getting stuck half way on the dock. When I manage to convince it to vacuum it often stops in the middle of the room for no reason and takes a 2 minute break. And vacuuming within 3 feet of its own base is a nono, so I have to clean a good portion of my room manually. Also, I couldn't care less about another stupid app pushing adds on me, but that's the only way to control this thing. All I want is to be able to bring the vacuum to a room, press start and have a clean room in 10 minutes. But this thing even don't have a handle to carry it. Every time it gets stuck on a side of its base or gets scared of stairs I either have to grab it by it's dirty bottom, or, well, kick it. I really love my old "dumb" roomba, which is extremely robust and simple to use. I wish I could return this one, but sadly I am past my return window. So I guess this unit will fall a victim of robot abuse ... show more

    • very impressive self learning !
The media could not be loaded. In the first few days i wasn't sure if it was a good investment , then it self learned my house better each day ! now i'm impressed . i've got two toddlers that always track dirt etc and this thing doesn't skip a beat when it cleans . it has mapped my house to a T and when the vac is full it'll return home , clean itself out & return right back to the room it left off to finish the job . not to mention it leaves a nice vacuum trail on carpet , i'm a sucker for a clean vacuum pattern . the mop isn't so great the pad doesn't get enough pressure imo but it does MOP so therefore i can't knock it . overall 9/10 ofcourse it's loud what do you expect atleast you don't have to string out a normal vacuum you can utilize your time elsewhere ... show more

    • Problematic but great when it actually works
I figured I’d buy a good one this time but it turns out I miss my $99 one I bought a few years ago. It’s more sophisticated, has an app and is constantly giving me error messages that parts and filters need to be replaced . I have it set on a program and many days it starts to vacuum and goes right back to the dock and doesn’t vacuum my house. It’s frustrating. And it’s loud when it’s vacuuming and especially when it’s emptying the bin. I wish I would have bought amazons less expensive one again, it was simpler even though you had to empty the cup daily. If it were still under the return policy I’d return this for sure. I should say when it works it does a great job, it’s just problematic. ... show more

    • Poor design
The vacuum cleaner is very loud, a filter is located and the dust bin and has to be replaced very very often it has no protection over it like a screen to filter out some of the dirt and dust and hair, the mapping design is terrible, the vacuum cleaner runs all over the house over and over again charges and starts all over again it runs at night when it starts at noon I have to manually stop it and put it back on the housing, the brush had to be replaced after a month and the parts from the company Warehouse are very very expensive, the vacuum cleaner leaves dog hair clumped up all over the carpet I have to go in behind it and pick up grass pieces of pine straw off the tile floor. The front wheel has to be taken off after every vacuum and it is difficult to get off I have to pry it off with a screwdriver the rollers has to be taken off after every vacuum and hair has to be pulled out from inside the rollers, this is a very poor design vacuum cleaner and very expensive to replace parts that often need to be replaced, you can trust this review because it's very accurate I promise you.!!! ... show more

    • Cleans multiple floors, only main floor on a schedule. Very nice to painlessly vacuum.
Best purchase I have made in some time. My house is now vacuumed 3 times a week with very little effort on my part. A few points to consider: Cannot vacuum your stairs, alas Isn't able to vacuum the tiny areas blocked by furniture, under the refrigerator etc. Does need some maintenance like clearing out hair wrapped around the rollers, or vacuuming clean the filter periodically between replacements. Is perfectly capable of being set down in an unknown room or second floor and told to clean. You just need to carry it and once done set it near the base and tell it to go home. It can only have one map of your main floor but that doesn't appear to cause any challenges when you have it clean another floor, it does show you in history what it cleaned. It is really nice to have dinner while Reba (our Roomba) is upstairs vacuuming or to come home to a clean floor. ... show more
