I bought a two pack for my makeshift 300 gallon agricultural-stock-tank-turned-sitting-pool and this made my creation so much user friendly! Right out of the box, the seats are extra heavy duty, as in thick durable plastic with sturdy fold-out legs. I folded the legs out and tried it on my noncarpeted floor and could immediately tell how high quality the build is. It was comfortable just sitting in the middle of the floor! In the water, the height with the legs extended is ideal for my 5'4" frame. My husband prefers the seat with the legs folded in so he can sit deeper in the water. The slightly rounded back of the seats are ideal against the curved interior of our tub. The seats do not float when not in use and so far we just leave the seats in the water with no ill effects.     • Work very well, don't leave them in the spa though.
These are great and do everything they are meant to do. They are more a booster than a seat (it only raises your butt a few inches) but it will clear more of your upper body above the water line if you are getting too hot. Only complaint is I left one in the hot tub for a week and it left a slight stain in the area it was sitting. The tub was covered and inside so it wasn't a sun issue. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these for our Sulu portable spa, they work exactly as described. I am 5'10 and my wife is 5'2, she can now sit in the tub and not be uncomfortably submerged in the water. Little folding legs are adjustable so you can raise or lower yourself by a couple of inches. The seats have been submerged for about 6 weeks and have not shown any signs of deterioration or wear. Water is very well treated so I am sure it has something to do with it. I should also add they have a bit of heft to them and sank straight to the bottom of the tub. ... show more

    • Legs won't stay extebded, not heavy enough
This is a very nice, sturdy little seat but I have 2 major problems: 1) I'm 'vertically challenged' so I NEED the legs extended to keep my head above water in the hot tub. The legs do not "click" or have any mechanism to hold them extended in place. It's impossible to open the legs and expect them to stay extended on the trip to the bottom. Hence an underwater "dive". So much for keeping head above water. 2) this seat it heavy, but not heavy enough. If your tush isn't on the seat when you turn on the bubbles/jets, it "lifts off" and of course the plastic legs collapse (float up).... again. ARRRGGGG We're brainstorming ways to add weight to legs or something ... show more

So far, so good. We just received these Intex seats and used them last night in our new inflatable hot tub. They are sturdy and give me the height I need to sit comfortably, otherwise I would be neck high in the water. If you move around a lot the legs do have a tendency to buckle, but easily fixable. My husband and I agree they are worth the cost. It gives us a more enjoyable experience in the hot tub. Definitely happy we purchased these chairs. ... show more
