My wife and I purchased an inflatable hot tub a few years ago to see if we would actually use it. We enjoyed it but quickly discovered that it was very expensive to operate in the colder New England months. We decided to upgrade to this unit and have had it up and running for about 1 week now. It is even better than we had hoped. Placement - Make sure the spot you pick is level and you have a few people to assist with moving. The dry weigh is around 400lbs. Setup - Extremely easy! Once in place, fill with water. Do not connect the unit to your power source until it's full. Once full, plug it in and set your desired temp. It took around 24 hours to fully heat up. Usage - The controls are very easy: Temp, bubble, circulation, lights. Ours did not include steps, so we bought them separately. Not a must, but they make things easier. The fillter seems easy to remove and clean. The skimmer setup is great for removing debris from the tub. Energy - I've done some intial testing and estimate it will probable cost us around $30/month on average. We do not turn it down, we keep it at the desired temp all of the time so it's ready to use. We could probably trim the operating cost down if we lowered the temp when not using. It's a four person tub, but with four adults it would be a little awkward. With two adults, there is plenty of room. So far, I would say this is a full 5 stars all day long. The cover is well insulated and very easy to remove and re-install. ... show more

We have a corner perfect for this hot tub. Advertised as 4 person. It is more comfortable as a two person tub. With 4 people, you are bumping knees. But it is a nice smaller unit.
