I kicked around the idea of getting a hot tub or a sauna. I have young kids and figured the hot tub would be gross with the kids using it. Then it was between a big sauna for the backyard or an indoor one. I decided on this sauna for a few reasons. It's about 75 inches tall, so I could put it in my basement man cave. It also plugs into a normal wall outlet, so no special wiring. Really happy I went with this one. It's small enough to fit easily in a number of spaces, but big enough to use with my wife. You can also set the heat lower for when the kids want to use it. There are two drink holders that can double as a stand for a tablet or phone. Watching shows in the sauna on a cold winter night is amazing, it makes for a great date night at home. Plus I get to see my wife in her bathing suits a lot more often, which is a huge benefit for me. Assembly is very simple. The sauna arrive in a big box on a pallet. I opened the boxes and carried it in piece by piece. The front wall with the glass door was a bit heavier than the rest of the panels, but really not a big deal. You really need two people to place and buckle the walls into place. The rest of process consists of plugging all the wires in. I am currently writing this review IN my sauna. I absolutely LOVE this personal sauna and use it almost every day. It was very easy to assemble WITH 2 or 3 people - not by yourself as the pieces are pretty large and are best lifted by 2 people. The benefits of infared sauna are incredible. For me, the top 4 are pain relief, stress relief, beautiful skin and lowered BP. Everyone should have one of these in their home for the health benefits alone. I also wanted to mention how much I LOVE the colorful mood lighting options as well as the Bluetooth speaker system. It truly makes for a wonderful at-home spa experience! I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife who has joint issues. When I first started looking for saunas I was unpleasantly surprised at the price tags for many infrared saunas, so I did my research and eventually found this one for about a third of the price of other models that didn't have as many positive reviews as this one does. After reading reviews, both good and not so good, about this particular model, I continued my research through Google and YouTube, wondering if this was too good to be true. Eventually I decided to go for it and buy it. The shipping company brought it right to my driveway, and the nice driver even put the pallet in my garage for me. It came in three large boxes that were packed so well it took about 20 minutes to remove the packaging and get to the contents. My son helped me get the pieces into the house and down the basement stairs to my workout room. The individual pieces weren't heavy as much as they were awkward due to their size: I recommend that two people carry the sections in for that reason. Assembly took about 45 minutes, mainly because I had a little trouble fitting one of the side panels into the front panel. But after getting it to fit the rest of the assembly went well. Once assembled the unit weighs about 350 lbs. You will need some room on all sides while assembling, but once done you can slide the unit against the wall without much trouble. It is easy to use. It takes about 20 minutes to warm up. The Chromotherapy lights are soothing and pleasant. It took just a few seconds to hook up my iPhone to the wi-fi system. The ceiling speakers are pretty good: I can listen to music or podcasts while sitting in the sauna. It's very comfortable, although I recommend buying the optional seat cushion for added comfort. My wife tells me that the dry heat from the infrared panels penetrate deeply into her bones and help her joints feel great for several hours after a session. I started using it after my workouts. 20 minutes in the sauna listening to music after a hard workout feels great. I sweat like crazy, which I suppose is the point, but I'm never uncomfortable. First. Amazon delivery dates are wrong. This comes via freight so takes a bit. Ours arrived via semi today and the boxes were perfect. One large and one small. It takes two people to maneuver the parts to where you plan to assemble it. It went together easy (about 35 minutes) and yes you need an extra set of hands. Other than a few Phillips screws no other tools necessary. It worked great and heated up to temperature in about 35 minutes. My wife tried it and loved it. 😀😀 I bought this as a Christmas gift to help with her RA. Yes it’s pricy but well worth the money. Thanks for getting it here safely! ... show more
