So.. i'm a total pool newbie. Never owned one, never set up one before. What I had was a patch of grass suitable for this pool. I dug out some of the soil and replaced it with sand. I leveled and compacted the sand. This was 3-4 hour work, tops. After the groundwork (and I must stress, it's important to get it level and flat), the pool was easy to assemble in 2-3 hours by two adults. Filling the pool took another 2 days. I did some minor modifications to my pool. First i installed a Hayward SP1091LX Dyna-Skim Above-Ground Pool Skimmer. Secondly, I had my plumber install a heat exchanger to my heat pump. This way, I can have heated water in the pool and keep it at a constant 80F. Installing the skimmer into the pool was really easy with normal household tools, and it works great. I would say that this type of skimmer is a must have. It's money well spent, specially if you have grass around your pool, or nearby trees etc. Hooking the pool up to the heat exchanger took some time, but it's something that's not really relevant to the quality of the pool. The tubing delivered with this pool is 38mm, and I was able to cut the hoses and extend them 60ft w/o any issues. The kids love it, pricing is really good, and I think the quality of the parts is excellent. I expect this pool to last at least 4-5 years. ... show more

This is a great quaily pool! I bought mine in 2021 and it's gotten a lot of use. I never take it down.. we just cover it well for winter. We bought a new filter system for it because the one it came with wasn't powerful enough at all. The only other thing I didn't love was the ladder. But the pool itself will last for many many years if cared for properly. It's really easy to keep clean. One of my favorite purchases. ... show more

    • Very nice pool for the price
First, it was surprisingly easy to assemble, but it is definitely a 2 person job. Even unloading from the truck required 2 people. Dropped from the semi trailer into the bed of my truck, drove to the assembly spot in my yard, then unloaded onto pallets. Everything was clearly marked and fit together well and had it assembled in a couple hours. Finding a level area turned out to be the hardest part, but it is the most important part of this process. I used a transit, brought in dirt to help level it off, and thought I was good. However, due to the weight on the support legs, they pushed the cement slabs I had them on deeper into softer sand, and even cracked one of the blocks that was in the soft sand. This caused one side to be a little lower, which put strain on the floating corner piece. Had to let water out and start over with firmer ground all the way around. Let me finish by saying, filter is fine, does the job. Chlorine tablets in a float I purchased separate did the job keeping it clean. For the price, even with the self-inflicted leveling issues, I'd recommend this pool with no qualms. ... show more

Love our new pool, we got it ahead of delivery date. Setting up was pretty easy, it's pretty sturdy. However the ladder is not as sturdy as I would have liked but it's an easy fix. The same day it came in we had it set up and started filling it up. The next day we were enjoying our pool. I was a little concerned about the bowing at the sides when we were filling the pool, but once it filled up everything straightened up. It's a great addition to our backyard, a relief for the hot Georgia heat. Three days in and we are loving it. For now I Highly recommend ... show more

Nice pool but had a pole split and intex customer service is easy top 10 worst I have ever dealt with. It was easier just to order a replacement part. That is what I did after 2 days of wasted time on the phone with rude people and people whom can’t speak very good English

BUYER BEWARE!!!! the ladder only has a 90 day warranty from the purchase date and it WILL RUST NOT SOON AFTER. I have purchased my pool on 4/7/2020 and I have noted rust 5 months later. When I called Intex I was politely told that the warrantee was already expired and that I could purchase another ladder as they had them in stock!! yippee!!! like I would buy another crappy ladder from them. To my surprise I was also told that the ladder is not meant to be left inside the pool as is water resistant not water proof, I asked where was there mention about this in the manual and I was told that it mentioned in the part that refers to safety, I told the agent that they should spell this out as an owner of a household where two 40 year olds live and there are no children nor pets that could accidentally go in the pool and drown there is not reason for me to take the ladder in and out every single time I go in and out of the pool, perhaps it they should have said "remove the ladder as it will rust" then I might have done so to extend its life. The pool itself it has been otherwise good. The assembly is really easy and the key is to have a level terrain. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars in getting a 3rd party pad to put underneath as the cheap tarp it comes included will also dissolved in matter of few short months. IMPORTANT: If you don't want to waste a fortune in chemicals also note that you will need to run the pump while it is sunny out so basically from 9 AM to 5 PM. At the beginning I was running it overnight since the instructions specifically said that you should run the pump when nobody is in the pool for safety reasons. I am not a vampire and do enjoy the pool while the sun is out so I figure I would run the pump for 9 hours once everyone would be out of the pool (after 11 pm). After spending quite a bit of money at the local pool supply store in a crazy fight to keep the levels normal (battle that I was costly and graciously loosing) I was asked at what time of the day I was running the pump. I told the clerk that I was a good boy and followed instructions and shared what the manual said but was quickly educated that the sun breaks down the chlorine molecules and that is what was creating my water levels to go all over the place. The moment I have started (NOT) following the manual advice and run the pump in the daytime even as we were swimming I had no longer issues with my water and I stopped throwing money away in stabilizers, pool shock, algaecides, etc etc etc... was a costly lesson of something that is pretty obvious. When you use the vacuum from the (deluxe cleaning kit) to clean the bottom please make sure you are covering one of the two intake hoses with one of the black rubber plugs. I am not sure if this is explained in the manual but unless you do so the suction is terrible; once you cover it is night and day. The net is pretty useless, it is OK if you have big leaves, I mostly have little insects mostly so they go right thought the net. would I buy this pool again?? hmm... I am not sure.. I am hoping to get at least 2 years out of it so we shall see. ... show more
