So.. i'm a total pool newbie. Never owned one, never set up one before. What I had was a patch of grass suitable for this pool. I dug out some of the soil and replaced it with sand. I leveled and compacted the sand. This was 3-4 hour work, tops. After the groundwork (and I must stress, it's important to get it level and flat), the pool was easy to assemble in 2-3 hours by two adults. Filling the pool took another 2 days. I did some minor modifications to my pool. First i installed a Hayward SP1091LX Dyna-Skim Above-Ground Pool Skimmer. Secondly, I had my plumber install a heat exchanger to my heat pump. This way, I can have heated water in the pool and keep it at a constant 80F. Installing the skimmer into the pool was really easy with normal household tools, and it works great. I would say that this type of skimmer is a must have. It's money well spent, specially if you have grass around your pool, or nearby trees etc. Hooking the pool up to the heat exchanger took some time, but it's something that's not really relevant to the quality of the pool. The tubing delivered with this pool is 38mm, and I was able to cut the hoses and extend them 60ft w/o any issues. The kids love it, pricing is really good, and I think the quality of the parts is excellent. I expect this pool to last at least 4-5 years. ... show more

    • Very nice pool for the price
First, it was surprisingly easy to assemble, but it is definitely a 2 person job. Even unloading from the truck required 2 people. Dropped from the semi trailer into the bed of my truck, drove to the assembly spot in my yard, then unloaded onto pallets. Everything was clearly marked and fit together well and had it assembled in a couple hours. Finding a level area turned out to be the hardest part, but it is the most important part of this process. I used a transit, brought in dirt to help level it off, and thought I was good. However, due to the weight on the support legs, they pushed the cement slabs I had them on deeper into softer sand, and even cracked one of the blocks that was in the soft sand. This caused one side to be a little lower, which put strain on the floating corner piece. Had to let water out and start over with firmer ground all the way around. Let me finish by saying, filter is fine, does the job. Chlorine tablets in a float I purchased separate did the job keeping it clean. For the price, even with the self-inflicted leveling issues, I'd recommend this pool with no qualms. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We love this pool. We waited too long to order it, the price kept getting hire. IF YOU ARE WANTING TO BUY THIS POOL, DO IT IN THE WINTER!! It’s way cheaper. When it arrives, it weighs about 500 pounds. The delivery company will call and schedule a drop off time. The pool itself is sturdy. It may look like it’s caving in when there is no water in it, but that’s normal. It will fix itself when you fill it. Make sure you put something under the “legs” of the pool, they will sink if you don’t. We are also going to get a larger pump next year. This one serves it purpose, but we feel a bigger pump would be better. Lastly, enjoy the heck out of this pool. It’s wonderful. I was pregnant all summer and it was so enjoyable ... show more

OMG! I wished I knew about this choice yrs ago! You can’t BEAT the price! First make sure you level the area where you’ Place your pool. You don’t want to feel any bumps or God for bit it rips because there is something on the ground that will damaged it. We are so excited with our new pool. I really wanted to get it for my teenage daughter. We do a lot of kids gathering and all we had outdoors was the trampoline and the fire pit. The kids have an amazing time every time they come over. Yesterday for 4th of July was the first time adults jumped in and as well we all enjoyed it. If you are hesitating don’t! Just go for it and enjoy it! ... show more

Only three stars because this was designed by an engineer who has never assembled one. Okay, forget about the yrad prep, levelling and all that...they say 60-90 minutes installation but that must be with the whole neighborhood helping. Took a solid day for 2 of us. And 12x24 is NOT the actual size of your swimming area, they just say that to get you to buy it thinking it's bigger than it is. The bottom is more like 10x22. Oh, the sand filter that's included? Well sand is NOT included so hopefully there's a store near you with filter sand, I had to drive an hour to get some. The ladder itself likes to float up and move around. But for the positive.....I can float in it soon. I'm just reviewing my experience and sharing it. Be prepared for some sweat equity putting this up. I included my area before the pool (used a sod cutter to slice and dice then moved the sod to a needed location). Leveled out the ground a little more (could have done better, but was getting just too worn out), laid down 4x8 1" foam board for the base to keep crawly things from trying to dig underneath, put down the ground cover sheet and assembled. Took about 3 days to fill (well water and only ran it about 8 hours a day). And of course a post assembly photo showing that once it fills the sides bowing DOES go away. ... show more
