Frequently asked questions

The Aquarian Phoenix 21 Foot Pool Set includes a steel frame outdoor above ground pool, pump, ladder kit, sand filter, pool liner, net, and skimmer. Everything you need to set up and maintain your pool is included.

The pool has a depth of 52 inches, offering ample depth for swimming and recreational activities for both adults and children.

The Aquarian Phoenix pool is designed for straightforward, DIY assembly. However, it's recommended to have at least 2-3 people to assist with the setup process, which may take a few hours. Following the included instructions carefully will help ensure a smooth setup.

The pool should be installed on a level, stable surface. Grass, dirt, or gravel surfaces need to be prepared and possibly covered with a sand base or other type of padding for protection. Installing on an uneven surface can lead to structural damage and void the warranty.

However, if you're not equipped to handle these challenges or are looking for a hassle-free experience, you might want to consider other options or purchase from a local supplier with reliable customer service.

  • Great quality pool.
Size: 15' Style: Phoenix
I had the pool professionally installed, but finding an installer to do it was a challenge, as they have contracts with pool places. The installer stated he was surprised where I bought the pool & it’s great quality. It’s just as good as the pool places selling 6,000.00 pools for a fraction of the cost. I ordered pool sand for underneath from my local landscaping place & paid to have it delivered too. Look up how much you’ll need online for the specs of your pool. Purchase sand for the filter, because it doesn’t come with it. I also purchased separately cushions for the bottom corners. As a previous pool owner for 14 years, I was familiar with the process. There’s no point in investing your money to not install it properly & expect it to last or give it a bad review. The liner wasn’t a bad one, but after reading reviews before buying, I didn’t want to risk finding out if it was good or not on the day of installation. I bought a heavy gauge one with a pattern instead. The ladder isn’t sturdy, it’s not child proof & a hassle to assemble. I will be buying a better one this summer, but it was useable. Use caution with the ladder is my advice. The filter was big enough to keep my pool clean & I had to buy a hose for vacuuming, the pool package came with attachment to go over the basket hole though. i also use a solar cover & swear by it. It keeps my pool clean, does heat it up & keeps the heat in at night & reduces chlorine from being drained from the sun. The solar covers only last for me for about two years but are we’ll worth it I feel. The caps are a hard resin, but from what I seen at pool places this is the new product. They are sturdy & nothing to be concerned about, as many name brand pool manufacturers are utilizing this resin now. I know many have installed the pool themselves, but they also haven’t done so properly from what I read. If you do it on your own plan on a big project & do it right. Dig down, use sand, go the right route & this pool will last. I’m extremely satisfied and saved more than half the money I would’ve if I went to a pool place. ... show more

  • Everything is broken!
Size: 15' Style: Phoenix
Busted ladder Broken filter. Bent pool frame Missing hardware I am extremely disappointed with this. To start I was sent the kit and the ladder came in a box that was sliced opened and taped back up. When I opened the ladder box the top step was shattered and other peices broken. There weren't enough screws or hose clamps. The directions are terrible. And the assembly is process is argues. If it wasn't for YouTube I don't know how I would have completed this set up. I get everything done and fill the pool. I get the filter that comes with it hooked up and ran it ONE time. There are cracks in the multipor valve assembly. Cracks where the inlet and outlets are. I hand tightened everything. It's not like I wrenched everything down with special tools. I even use thread sealant as an extra step on top of the thread tape to prevent leaks and allow it to assemble easily. Busted ladder Broken filter. Bent pool frame Missing hardware. I contacted them a week ago about the ladder and still haven't gotten a replacement. This kit is too good to be true. Poor quality. Would not recommend. ... show more

  • Instructions are a JOKE. ladder is the biggest piece of junk ever.
Size: 18' Style: Phoenix
The pool is nice. Instructions are a joke to say the least. The whole pool was easier to assemble with online videos.it took twice the time to assemble because of poor instructions on all sections.(pool, ladder, pump) Ladder is unstable on all surfaces and shakes a lot. The outside removable steps wobble and fall off while on them.REALLY UNSAFE LADDER for all sizes and shapes. Claims to hold over 300 pounds. Ladder wobbles with children under 100 pounds on it. Pool liner in thin and plain blue. Pool pump seems to work well with plenty of pressure to circulate the water. The skimmer is several inches below top of wall so more like 48 inches of water for skimmer to work properly.real metal wall so pool is sturdy with many kids in it. ... show more

  • Great pool!
Size: 24' Style: Phoenix
I have had this pool for 3 years now and it is still perfect, only thing I changed was the liner. I upgraded to a better quality 25mil liner(liner that came with it was fine but not what we wanted and 15mil). Outstanding buy and a killer price, half everywhere else in 2022

  • Seems ok once its installed, but not sure yet. pros and cons
Size: 24' Style: Phoenix
Was nervous about this pool after reading the reviews but after an extensive search, I went with it. Big concern was the assembly so we went over board with the prep and really took our time. I basically learned pretty quick why the assembly reviews were so poor. Such a piss poor design for something they believe a consumer will assemble. Its extremely flimsy up until its completely full of water. Strength seems decent now. Literally ever step of the process is poorly design and the instructions are just plain terrible. As far as which part was bad with the assembly, well, all of it.... The pump and filter system seams to be fairly well made and keeps the debris pretty well managed. The skimmer and ladder are ridiculously cheep. I did have pretty good luck with the seller getting back to me to further clarify their HORRIBLE instructions. Looks pretty good now that it's installed but we shall see how I feel after its been used a bit. ... show more
