Seemed sketchy because it was cheap for a 15x48 pool ($420)ish but so far from what i can tell it is a quality pool. The liner is nice, the frame is simple to put together and it came with everything it claimed to come with (ladder,pump,cover) and nothing was damaged. Came in a very timely manner. My only complaint is the cover sucks the string and clip to hold it on does not hold it to the pool, slight wind will pull it right off.. I'm still using it tho I'm not willing to buy another. I used some hose clamps around the posts to help hold the string. I'm sure the pump will only last a year or so but it's a decent unit. Ladder feels sketchy at first but you get used to it. Pool is about a month old; set up was easy; pump/filter keeps the pool clean and clear; kids LOVE it. Update: pool liner and pump work well. Frame shows a bit of surface rust. Previous pool frames did not rust like this one. Frame remains solid as my kids are not gentle. Major negative: the hoses used for the pump (both suction and discharge) have all cracked and leak profusely. I lost about 1000 gallons one night due to one developing a large Crack. You will need replacement hoses if where you live has long summers. ... show more

I've had nothing but good luck with these Power Steel pools. My previous one was 8 years old when it was given away. I always disassemble in the Winter which lends to a longer lifespan. Now, for this pool. Shipping was fast and it came freight by appointment. The pictured ladder and over the wall skimmer were not included in this purchase. I prepped and leveled the ground with 1000 pounds of sand. Not leveling stresses the pool and makes it look terrible. The sand also makes a soft base. This pool came with pump/filter and a ladder. The ladder in my photos is not what came with the pool. The one that does come with the pool is sufficient, but a little on the cheap side. In addition, the pump that comes with the pool is sufficient as well, but also a little on the underpowered side. I will be purchasing a sand filter/pump in the not too distant future. This pump barely has the pull to make my over the wall skimmer effective. This is why I gave my overall rating 4 stars. The pool itself is sturdy. I love the stone pattern in the liner. Assembly is easy and it is a one man job. It took me about 2 hours to assemble at a nice slow pace. The steel bars are connected together with plastic joints and plastic pins. They seem sturdy but we will see if they hold up to the test of time. For some reason, this pool has two inlets that converge into one heading to the pump. I'm not sure why this is, and I'm not a fan as I use an over the wall skimmer and having a second inlet robs some of the suction from my skimmer. I will be making a modification to this in the not to distant future as well. Over all, I give this pool a B+. For under $600 with everything that's in the box is not a bad deal. The ladder and pump might be a little on the cheaper side, but for those who aren't as finicky as me, they are fine and will get you swimming in no time. This has been the absolute worst Amazon experience I have ever had. I purchased this pool on May 3rd and not even a full two months of being set up the pool is completely useless. I set it up correctly and there were no roots or grass or anything under it. Unfortunately grass traveled over and up and actually grew THROUGH the liner!!!!!!! Every bit of chlorinated water leaked out over night into our yard killing a huge amount of grass. I contacted Amazon for help and they reached out to the seller, Bestway. They basically said it’s an easy fix and that they could replace or repair. I was given a customer service number for them and when I reached out there was literally nothing they could do because I didn’t purchase the pool through them. Ha!! How freaking convenient!!!!!! So again I contacted Amazon and all they can do is refund once I have returned the pool. I do not have the original box so I’m responsible for getting a large enough box now to send this thing back. And I’m not going through all that trouble. So now I’m out $400 and my kids have no pool because even after several attempts of patching it nothing will hold. The liner is complete trash. So the pool is going where it should go, THE DUMP!!!! Stay away from Bestway products and don’t bother buying swimming pools from Amazon. I will be taking my money elsewhere from now on. ... show more

It's been too cold to use, supposed to be in the 80s all this week. So I'm hoping to be in it real soon. The faux interior pebble side and flooring gives it the *pop* it needs. It looks like a $600 pool. Lots of ohhhs and ahhhhhs when it was assembled.... beautifully made

So this is the first pool we have purchased that lasted the summer without leaking. It was easy to set up, but we did have an issue with the posts sinking into the ground. Nothing to do with the product, just had a lot of rain. We ended up putting bricks underneath the bottom of the posts. The ladder is a little flimsy and the steps are very small, would not work for someone who is elderly or has difficulty with balance or strength. ... show more
