The set up was slightly more difficult than the instructions say so be prepared for that. It will probably take you at least an hour to an hour and a half to put it together. Having a partner to help you is pretty essential especially when it comes time to stand the pool up. After reading so many reviews stating the included pump was insufficient, I didn't even bother with it. I ordered the Bestway Flow Clear 1500 GPH filter pump and it has worked great. As far as leveling, my pool dips slightly down hill. Probably more than the suggested range but we have not had any issues thus far. I'd estimate it being close to 2 inches off of level. Other random thoughts: Be sure to only fill your pool with a regular water hose and monitor it closely while filling. Be there to adjust the supports as the water fills because you could run into a huge issue if your supports aren't aligned correctly. Also using a hose water filter was a great suggestion I read and really helped to get my pool water off to a good start. The one I used was purchased on Amazon as well by the brand Keten Garden. Using a large blue tarp and 12, 6 inch clamps spring metal clamps has served as a great pool cover and even gives some of the same benifits of those pricey solar covers but for a FRACTION of the price. Again, not as good but does a decent job of holding some of the warmth in and great at keeping leaves out. Both of those items were purchased on Amazon. I know that many people wonder about power usage. With the new pump, I only have to run my filter about 2 or maybe 3 hours a day in conjunction with filling the included chlorine dispenser with 6, 1 inch chrolrine tablets weekly to have my water crystal clear. The ones I use were here on Amazon as well. The brand is GLB 71250A. Back to the the energy stuff, I have seen about an 9 dollar jump in my monthly bill. Also I did not have to rewire my home electric as I was very nervous about this. I have standard service and I do not have an outlet that is close to my pool to run the pump. So I thought initially I would have to have the electric company come and install an outlet near the pool in order to run the pump and potentially have to overhaul my service in order to support the pump. After reading and researching all over the place, I took a slight leap and purchased a Watts Wire 50ft GFCI 12/3 Heavy Duty 3 Outlet SJTW Indoor/Outdoor extension cord. This too has run FLAWLESSLY for me. I have not had a single issue. Cord has not been hot to the touch or anything like that. I'm not an electrician so I'd not take my situation as gospel but hopefully my experience with this set up can help you make your own decision. I purchased the Poolaza pool skimmer net and brush for skimming things off the top of the water and brushing the walls of the pool weekly to make sure algae doesn't develop. Also got the Pool Whale Mini Jet Vacuum Cleaner brush with bag to suck up all the crud and debris that may sink to the bottom. Highly suggest those two products! In conclusion, this pool was a great purchase for me and my family. We routinely have all 6 of us in the pool at the same time and never feel cramped or way too close together. I gave 2 🌟's for shipping because CEVA Logistics has TERRIBLE tracking updates and the delivery guy was extremely rude-For one, he "floored it" when reversing into the driveway nearly striking my vehicle (missed striking it by a few inches if that) and for two, my husband informed me he had to really "twist his arm" to get him to pull forward just 5 more feet to where we wanted to lay down the pool. He described him as a "grump." Ceva also does not have any way to get ahold of them via telephone for immediate replies. Besides that, the pool seems solid and good so far. Just MAKE SURE to lay it out on a perfectly even surface- I made the mistake of not leveling the ground and we could not fill the pool entirely with the majority of the water on one end of the pool. Its definitely a 2 person job to set up (It came with all of its contents and instructions). Instructions you may find in the second or third step box (You will receive three boxes in all wrapped in one very large box). The ladder will hold you!! I am a plus size person so if it can hold me, you'll be fine. The pool cover it comes with works well-securely covers the entire pool and be sure you let a little air out of the pump and let it run a few minutes first before thinking it does not work. The media could not be loaded. We absolutely love this pool. It’s a perfect size for our family and when we have the kids outside. We purchased the 18x9x48”. We’ve had the pool up for 2 months now! The price was perfect for what we needed and received. Based off other reviews, we did go ahead and order a different sand pump, which has worked great! We chose to level the ground out, please a nice durable tarp on top of the dirt and then we chose the black 16 x 16 interlocking foam mats on top of that and place at the pool directly on top of that. Next step is to make a small retaining wall over around the edges. We are located in the Midwest, so our next thing is to research about closing our pool up when it gets to the view of the winter time and what to do The space that is needed to prep your area to get the pool up is smaller on the box than what is actually need due to the Support bars, so make sure you watch that! The assembly was easy and fast no screws or bolts needed! I’ve included several pictures, including what the bottom looks like for us, which led us to have a nice soft bottom for the kids up to filling it up in with it being filled the sides to bow in until it is filled, and then they straighten themselves back out. ... show more

This was the best purchase I have made this was a wonderful pool. Don't try to do it alone or with just 2 people. Be sure to read all directions. I did not and we are resetting this coming year. Plan ahead. Product is good , solid material. We live in the Midwest and our biggest issue was keeping the passing geese and ducks from using it. So it holds water great made it through the winter without issues. Plenty of space for family and friends. Don't forget to get a pad for the steps both side in and out. ... show more

Had this pool up now for about 30 days. Assemble was very easy and I was impressed with the overall quality of this inexpensive pool. The grandkids absolutely love it and I am pretty amazed at how easy it is to maintain. Don’t be afraid of above ground pools. The liners are a high-quality and very strong. I will take it down for the winter and put it back up next summer and if all goes well, I’ll do a second review to let you know how it’s holding up. The pump and filter that came with the pool was a very cheap cartridge filter. I replaced it before I even put the pool up and put a good quality sand filter and it keeps the water crystal clear.. ... show more
