We ordered the 24’ x 12’ and 52 inch deep pool. I liked that it came with a sand pump. The pump is very small but it does the job. The pool was pretty simple to set up. We had three guys setting it up. The cover is kind of annoying to put on. It has ties that you tie to each post to keep it on so it can get tedious taking it on and off. The pool came in two boxes. I bought this pool in 2021 and showed up in pieces the box was destroyed. However, after going though and putting this pool together I did have all the parts. I have enjoyed the pool for 2 year, but this year before opening it for the 2024 season we had a storm come through and huge tree fell on the pool. After inspecting the pool only a few pieces of the frame was destroyed. I can say with confidence that this pool is built to last. I highly recommend the pool but the pump is not large enough to move the amount of water in the pool. So great pool bad pump. ... show more

Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I bought the 10'x6'7" pool. It took my teenage daughter and I about 20 minutes to assemble. It did come with an instruction manual that was good, but I am a visual person and choose to watch a YouTube video to step through set-up. The video by Dale's Backyard I watched was very helpful and gave some good tips for making set-up as easy as possible. The pool parts seem very durable, except for the wing nuts that go on the hose connections and the seals for the hoses. I was missing one wing nut, but was able to make a clamp I had on hand work for the last one. The hose clamps are plastic, I think more durable metal ones would be better. Every single hose connection leaked so I had to use plumber's stuff to keep it from leaking. Note: Be sure you get as much air as possible out of the hoses when you prime the pump, it makes a huge difference! So overall, I am happy. Works well but the steel used to make the side supports is cheap steel - rusting - and the pool is in a screened enclosure Going to have to take everything apart try and remove the rust and repaint it - glad to have a small pool -bout would have gone with the other brand if I knew it would rust so much -- rusting on multiple bars-- about 50 percent of them It should be covered under warranty but I am not sure - I submitted a warranty return for just the bars to see if they will honor their product We bought the waterfall which is great and upgraded the pool pump to a larger size because the one that comes with this version seems a bit small If it wasnt for the rusting we would be 100 percent satisfied but --- . Update - Within 24 hours of submitting photos of the support bars and and filing a warranty claim Bestway is replacing them all. I have not seen other reviews with this issue so perhaps it was just a bad batch of steel ? I love the whole design of the pool except for the included filter pump. I'm a renter so I installed the pool on top of a larger piece of gym rubber mat on my patio. I upgraded to another brand Sand filter pump. This is the deepest pool I could find for such a small size. Easy to install and quick set up. No leaks. I purchased my pool in January 2023, didn't set it up or turn the pump on until July 2023, the pump is defective - I have been on and off the phone with Bestway, they seem to know there is a defect with the pump, my claim was approved; however, they didn't ask for an address to ship the new pump, the new pump comes without a warranty, I spoke with "Joe" tonight, after being on hold for almost an hour, they will fed-ex the pump but will take approximately 5 day to receive, I asked him where they were going to ship it?? I did provide my address tonight, in the meantime, I have to continue to dump chemicals into the pool, the water is becoming cloudy and algae is gathering in the hoses, which are not replaced with the new pump, I have to pay for the water in the pool or to replace it and I have to pay for the chemicals to try to salvage the water - Bestway is not willing to help with any additional burden - per "Joe" "unfortunately we don't help with any of that". I would reconsider this company. I am unable to answer the ease of assemble question as I paid for someone to set the pull up and unable to answer as to sturdiness because we are unable to use the pool. Second pump has quit working Company per Allison supervisor the pump designed to handle this pool, does not filter water but moves it, they would like me to do a "cut cord" and send to them and pay for new pump to be sent - I have documentation pump is under warranty and they argue that I don't - I will submit documentation to info@bestwaycorp.com If I do a cut cord because of defective pump - my water turns green again and I have hundreds of dollars in chemicals and replacing the water again for the 4th time - I hope you are having better luck This is not a small purchase but an investment and neither Amazon or Bestway is willing to stand behind this purchase ... show more
