Absolutely love this pool. Pretty easy to put together, and with a little ingenuity you can even work around some of the "rules." For instance, having 5 feet of free space all around the pool to install. We for it into our yard right up against our fence. We do have a path to walk by it. The reason they say this is because to install the legs and stand the pool up you need to lay it all out flat. If you use your brain you can figure out how to put it in worth limited space. As long as you have 18ft×10ft you can put the pull there. Also our yard was a bunch of small gravel. We did not shovel it out. We did buy 2 aftermarket pool pads that we put over the smoothed out gravel layer. It's plenty of protection to keep it from damaging the liner. I HIGHLY recommend getting an aftermarket pool pad regardless, because the one that comes with the pool is a CHEAP thin tarp. As far as leveling.... level the ground.... our ground was mostly level to begin with so we were very lucky to not have much leveling to do.... but from previous experiences with above ground pools....4 or 5 inches greatly reduces the depth of your pool at one side and makes for a diminished experience. Always level. Had to roof a few things up to make it work better... mainly the intake ports. I reinforced them and put them sitting on a chair because the weight from water coming through the house makes a very hard pull that looked like it would eventually cause problems. The filter is working great, the cover is great, the ladder is a little wobbly, but if you're careful.... and don't have any stupid kids it will work.... if you have stupid kids, I would recommend buying a better ladder. Great experience putting the pool in, really cheap, great instructions, fun pool to enjoy. 5 stars all day

We got five plus years out of this pool! The pump never failed and it really did a good job filtering. I only bought six filters during that time, I just rinsed them clean. The ladder is flimsy but worked. Of course the discharge hoses crack and get replaced every two years (Inexpensive). The top vinyl rail has started to fray and the pipes are rusting bad. Three of the support strips are ready to let go. All the issues are from the extreme Gulf coast weather. It’s been a ton of fun and we ordered the 18 x 9 x 52” to replace it for around the same price. This pool would probably go one more year but I don’t like taking a chance with the kids. I set it up on a slab which most definitely helps longevity. The instruction were very helpful with setup and operation. Keeping the chemicals exact really helps longevity too. The pool was a good size but I am ready for just a little bigger and newer.

I have had several Intex pools over the years and have loved every one of them UNTIL now. Where do I begin? The framing is now different, which is disappointing. The vertical poles would not fit into the base covers, so I had to use pliers and squeeze them to make them fit. The vertical poles stay in place by weight and resistance, but if you don't have water in the pool, the poles fall out. So when you lift the pool frame to insert the vertical poles, the previous poles fall out. I finally got it all put together, only to discover several holes in the liner. I go for the patch kit, but guess what? They no longer supply the necessary glue. A sticky patch was at least included, but I had to buy a pool patch kit also. So what should have taken 30/40 minutes ended up taking 6 hours, and this is a small pool. Now I have to wait 24/48 hours before adding water to make sure the patches will hold. Honestly, as thin as this liner is, I don't expect it to last the summer. I will be surprised if it lasts a week of just water floating. I am expecting to find more holes because the quality of the liner is so bad. ;-(. I am so disappointed. The old liners were thicker and I have never had a liner with a hole. I can not recommend this pool. ;-((((((

Good little pool. My 3 kids are having fun with it pretty well. It seems better suited for elementary age kids. Feels sturdy and stable enough and the liner is thick. Easy to assemble and get started, no issues or leaks. The pump is really weak. I dont see it doing much. Might be better off just draining and refilling periodically, take like 1,000ish gallons. Make sure its level or the pump set up won't work right. Much better than a blow up pool.

Temporary solution while we are having significant yard work. It's a really nice size and sturdy for the price. Everything fit together snugly and directions were clear enough that we didn't have too much confusion. Definitely need 2 people as you put the metal bars in. Don't forget the talcum powder. :) Having a level spot is a big deal as even a little variation will impact water level on a low side, so keep that in mind. The pump is small but certainly better than nothing. We ordered a few extra filters so we can quickly change out and clean them.

Perfect size for just floating and for the little ones to splash around. Easy to reach in to skim top+bottom or you can stand in it with shorts on if you don’t want to put a suit on! I love this pool! I wanted a STP but this was cheaper for shipping and delivered right to my door. Took two of us about an hour to put up. Put down a heavy duty tarp and the fatigue mats from HF and it makes a nice soft floor to walk/kneel/sit on. Get the plastic/straw like outdoor rugs for your entry path. They are great for keeping stuff out of your pool and water flows right through them! Pump works great except it can only be set it for 2-10hrs. Have to change the plug to put it on a timer. We will do that next year.
