Just put this up and have swum in it twice already. You definitely need two people to finish putting it up, but you can start with one person. I filled it to the line like it says, but I didn't expect the water to splash out of the corners the way it does. It's not terrible but just unexpected. One other unexpected thing is the cover. It has holes in it designed to prevent water from collecting on top, from rain, I assume. Mosquitoes are a big thing here, and I wanted the cover so they couldn't get to the water. The holes aren't huge or anything, but they are enough for them to take over if not cleaned out on a very frequent basis. Speaking of the cover, the darn thing gets HOT! When I pulled it back yesterday to get in the pool, I would swear I could have made a cup of hot tea with the temperature of that water! That said, I used a telescoping pole to mix the water, and it evened out with the cooler water on the bottom. Just be aware of that. The instructions were pretty straightfoward. The pump came with some extra pieces, so that kind of threw me off for a minute, but everything came together just as it should have. I didn't use the talc powder they recommended for putting the poles in the liner. It was pretty easy to put in place until the weather started warming up. That made the vinyl warm, and it became a little difficult to put them in, but it still didn't make me use it. I do wonder if it will cause a problem when I try to take it down, though. Last thing, you'll get an update that it shipped but no updates after that until you get a call from a delivery company that they are ready to deliver it. Overall, very happy with it and would highly recommend.

It took 4 hrs for 2 females to put together but I’m sure 2 men can do it in an hour! The pool was money well spent! It’s sturdy and has plenty of room for cooling off! The filter works great and with some chlorine stays nice and clean! Was a life saver for us this summer. Would definitely recommend!!

This pool has been great for my mental health during COVID and beyond. I also purchased a salt water pump so I would not have to use chlorine. Just wish the summers in NC were a little longer. I only get to swim about 3 months - June through August. If the water is not up to around 85 degrees F I get a little chilly. My only complaint (or my son's and his wife) is that we have to take it down and put it up every year. I think that's why is has lasted a little longer than some. But they put it up for me so they are not too happy about it. Could not put it up one year b/c we purchased an out building and the pool would have been in the way to get the building to the correct spot. My luck was that they delayed delivery but that's ok, it's up this year and it is awesome! The Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System with E.C.O. (Electrocatalytic Oxidation) for up to 15000-Gallon Above Ground Pools, 110-120V with GFCI may have gone out but they are less than half of what they were in 2020 so not too bad. This year was the toughest but probably user issues. I put too much salt in this year. The power stake went out and the outside back yard electrical receptacle did too. The pool itself has not been an issue. I leveled the ground a little better this year and the water level is better. It is so nice to jump in and cool off on a hot summer day. Hope it lasts a few more years. Purchased late July 2020 and so glad I did!!!

Our family is going on the second year of using this pool, 16ft by 8 ft. We absolutely love it! We have had experience with smaller pools but wanted something bigger for our friends and family to enjoy on a hot day. Things to know: 1. The 1000 GPH pump that comes with the system was not adequate enough to keep it filtered even when left on for the full ten hours. My guess is the water is not "moving" fast enough for it to get all of the debris we get from our windy weather. 2. Before setting up the pool PREP THE GROUND PROPERLY! We used pressure treated lumber for the foundation after digging a 3-5 inch whole in our yard to make sure everything was properly leveled and all random roots or rocks were removed. (The pressure treated lumber runs connected around the perimeter and leveled with the ground) 3. When its filling up it will look odd, wait until its completely filled and it will look normal. 4. Lastly, we take it down for winter to store it (we are remodeling and landscaping in the same area as the pool and didn't want to risk damage). About a 2 hour tear down job after making sure it was cleaned properly. All stated above we love the pool but had to purchase a more efficient sand pump to filter the water which works phenomenal. I would suggest to Intex that upping the size or output of the pump would have created a Five star Review.

I bought this pool for my daughter's house and she said that set up took a couple of hours but relatively simple. They really enjoy using this pool and it is easy to maintain.

This is actually the second pool I’ve bought—the first was a 10ft round model that started leaking after a few uses. Hoping for better luck, I upgraded to this larger 16’ x 8’ rectangular one, but unfortunately, I’m facing the same issue. It’s super frustrating to set everything up only to discover it’s losing water again. The size and look are great, and the frame feels sturdy, but the leaking really takes away from the experience. I’ve been careful with setup and maintenance, so it’s disappointing to run into the same problem twice. Just be aware—it may require more upkeep than expected.
