TLDR: AWESOME product. Just amazing, conditioned well, sticks to hair, and doesn't stain the tub - or any fabric surfaces. Would 100% try again and recommend. The Background No One Asked For: So I LOVE dyeing my hair. I used to use Arctic Fox all the time before I started going into salons but now I'm broke so I'm back to home dyes. Only this time Arctic Fox didn't have the pink I wanted so I had to hunt elsewhere, thus here. The Dye Story: I'm a DARK brunette, some people say I have black hair but no and I digress. Anyway, I have to go blonde to go vibrant. So, I bleached (Arctic Fox bleach kit), rested the hair a day, and then dyed. I let the hair dye sit for 2hrs, occasionally using a bonnet attached to a blow dryer to apply heat. Rinsed with almost no runoff - total shocker there - and voila! First Shampoo: As expected some color came off in the shampoo but nothing ran, nothing stained - hands or tub. It was almost as if my shampoo decided to just change colors when sudsing. Amazing. No fade in color, no drying of folice (whether from bleach job or dye). It looks amazing! ... show more

I love this brand and have been using it for years now. I went to the beauty supply and they didn't have it, so I tried iroiro and I hated it. It wasn't nearly as saturated as intended and left my hair very dry. She was CRUNCHY, but this dye helped save her! The colour is saturated and has depth.

I have had purplish pink hair for two or three years now. My hair is naturally medium brown but turning grey. It is very fine and I was absolutely not looking to bleach it. The first brand I tried for dark hair was a beautiful color but also died my scalp for day and bleed all over everything. Hats, pillow cases, etc. the next brand I tried turned out red. Brand after that I liked and used for some time. Also while being called permanent it faded quickly and bowed less but still quite a bit. I tried one more just for a change of shade and loved it but the next time I needed it , no longer available! I found this stuff and figured what do I have to lose? I liked the shade. I loved the idea that it doesn’t damage your hair and figured they are all semi-permanent really. They all bleed. They all fade more than you “normal” colors. I left it on for almost two hours. To say I was thrilled with the result is an understatement. The color is gorgeous. It left my hair so soft and as long as you flare not shampooing your hair every day it lasts. When it does start to fade or my roots grow in I just brush a bit more on my roots or reapply all over and it doesn’t damage my hair. This one co trainer will last on my shoulder length but thin hair for likely three to four uses with touch ups. Can’t recommend enough! ... show more

I've been dying my hair bright colors for many years and I was very excited to try out the INH one for it's deep conditioning properties. The color turned out amazing, and it's super conditioning which left my hair really soft. If that's all that matters to you than I 100% recommend it. However, this is the first dye that I've had a hair dye that bleeds this much and stains everything. I used gloves for the application so that was not an issue, but my fingers turn purple when I blow dry or style my hair even after multiple washes. My white nail polish is now light pink and my fingertips turn purple from just touching my dry hair. My towel and pillowcases and stained and it did not come off in a regular wash cycle. It's very annoying since I've been doing this for years with multiple different brands (even bright red permanent dyes) and never had this happen, so I was completely unprepared for the amount of staining. As amazing as the color is, I don't think it's worth the inconvenience of having to do multiple washes and maybe even use bleach to remove the stains from towels, bedding, and even the tiles in my shower. But as I said, if the staining does not matter to you, the color is amazing. ... show more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. No developer needed, just apply to your hair and WHALA! I did leave it in about 30 minutes longer than it said (Did recommend if want a brighter color) and it was very vibrant. My hair didn't dry out from it either. I haven't experienced any bleeding like other said but it did get on EVERYTHING so keep that in mind. Luckily we prepared after reading the reviews so we had little staining on things but it does stain so preparation is key. ... show more
