I'm going to start with 4 stars. I'll update and add experience once I've had it for a while. Arrived this morning and the fit into the Coleman/Saluspa lid cover is good. The inflation valve design is an upgrade. I think most people are buying these because they are fed up with the Saluspa ones constantly failing, and getting one replacement before the warrantee runs out... just in time to fail again. The design of the seams (where the failure occurs) is different on this one. They are concentric rings instead of horizontal lines end to end. It is the end of the seam where the failure always occurs. Hopefully this design will hold up better. DO NOT OVERINFLATE! This can't be stressed enough. The lid should only be inflated until it is just rigid enough to allow you to put it on with one person. Air expands when it heats up. After sitting on top of a 105° hot tub, it will expand and feel fuller. This is most important to understand when using in cold weather. The lid will feel fine when you take it off, but when you go to put it back on after your soak time, it feels like it has leaked out air. Don't add air unless you are sure that it is not firming back up once it is heated up again. This is how my first one failed and was a valuable lesson. If you inflate it until it is nice and firm in 45° weather, then put it on top of a 105° tub, it will expand too much and the seam will tear. My last Saluspa cover lasted quite a bit longer once I understood this, but ultimately, failed again. I hope this tip helps save people from a lot of unnecessary frustration. *update after 3.5 months* This product is a winner so far. I have two inflatable tubs side by side. One hot, one cold. Both of these replacement parts are holding up just fine. At first I thought the cold tub lid was failing, but the leak was in the valve, not a failure of the seams. Even though it was not experiencing significant temperature variations, it was still losing air every day. This valve is fairly unique in that it opens in two sections; the typical 1 way squeeze valve of inflatable stuff, and an outer section that opens up to allow rapid deflation. After opening this up and pressing it firmly closed again, the leakage stopped. Even though this replacement product feels like it is made of thinner material, the concentric seam design seems to have solved the primary issue. I still must stress that at ambient temperature, the lid SHOULD feel floppy. At 104°F it should feel firmer. It should never feel inflated like something you expect to float around on in a pool. Its only purpose is insulation. As long as it has enough rigidity to pick it up and place it over the top of the tub, it is just right. I am upgrading this review to 5 Stars. I will follow up again in another 3 months or so.

I have bought and owned four Bestway Inflatable Hot tubs over the last five years. The come either round or square in shape and work well. The price is reasonable (under $500 usually). However, every one to two years, something on them springs a leak and the air slowly leaks out. The leak can be either in the hot tub body itself, or in the inflatable cover that slips into a vinyl sleeve and covers the hot tub. This time, it was the cover that sprung a leak. This one is square. Bestway sells just the inflatable cover but wants over $100 for it shipped. Instead, I found the Sitroasho inflatable cover on Amazon for under $50 shipped. I ordered it, inflated it, slipped it into the Bestway vinyl sleeve and voila ... no more leaks. So far, it works great.

Not as heavy duty as the original tube. It also doesn't fit the Saluspa Hawaii unless you don't fully inflate it. I was able to stuff it in the cover then inflate it to fit, which seems to be working. No leaks yet after 1 month.

Perfect for our Salonspa Coronado. In reading another’s review we learned to be careful to inflate to about 70%. When it rests on hot water the ait expands and bursts the seams. We could never understand how our original failed so quickly.

I use this under the cover of my hot tub. Every time it rained the water would fill up on the cover and i was worried it was too heavy and would break the cover. This is perfect. Inflated super easy, and keeps the rain water from pooling up on the cover.
