Color: 32mm Silver Impact Driver Drill

Features

  • One-piece design: shank and drill bit are welded and polished; the perfect combination will not separate. Even if it accidentally gets stuck in the wood, it can be removed by reversing the rotation. Make your wood splitting work more efficient and labor-saving.
  • Suitable for Impact Drivers:The Impact Drivers have more torque than traditional drills which will make chopping wood much easier!
  • High-quality material: the drill bit is made of high-quality, high carbon steel, which is wear-resistant, impact-resistant, and not easy to break due to vibration.
  • Careful design: geometry reduces friction and saves time to complete the task efficiently. Titanium coating reduces friction and heat through heat treatment, making cutting easier and more durable.
  • Note: The 32mm drill bit is not suitable for large diameter hardwoods. When using the bit, it is best to use it at the edge of the log. If the drill bit gets stuck, it can be easily removed using the drill's reverse rotation feature. Switch to the edge of the wood, and you can continue to use it.

  • It's a great tool
Color: 32mm Silver Hex Shank Drill
It took a log or two to learn, but this works best with your drill on it's low speed setting. I was using it on high, and not only did it not work very well, but it was burning my batteries out quickly and I nearly snapped my wrist a couple of times. Once I put my cordless drill on the low speed setting, it chewed through piece after piece of firewood, like butter. I'm thankful for this tool and will continue to keep it handy. ... show more

  • . Did not split wood vey well. Solid made.
Color: 32mm Silver Hex Shank Drill
Not very usable on my oak firewood. It’s shed dried for almost two years and it defeated this “splitting screw” in multiple attempts Product did not break in my 1/2 inch electric drill; Weld held screw body to hex shaft was solid weld; bite of screw varied greatly. I don’t blame the manufacture of the product but the splitting process is not easy as depicted. ... show more

  • It broke my drill and almost broke my hand
Color: 32mm Silver Hex Shank Drill
The only thing I can say is this thing shouldn't be used with a hand drill. The bit is well made but using a hand drill with this is a mistake. The correct tool is a 1/2" either electric or pneumatic impact wrench. I tried this with a heavy duty corded drill and it almost tore my hand off. It worked well but it was so hard on the drill the reverse burned out. Then it slipped out of my hand and went crazy on its own and cut the cord in half. So what I did is I bought a 1/2 inch ryobi drill chuck from home depot and screwed a 12mm bolt into the back of it, then used my electric impact wrench with the correct socket for that bolt. It was so much easier that way and worked so much better. I would recommend the seller redesign this to accept a 1/2 inch impact wrench. Using it with a regular drill is dangerous and unpredictable. ... show more

  • Impact Driver Firewood Drill Bit Wood Splitter
Color: 32mm Silver Impact Driver Drill
I tried this item using a rechargeable impact drill and an electrical drill and I was not able to split the firewood. I tried several locations at the firewood trying to spilt it but not successful. I strictly followed the seller's suggestion on where to drill without no success so I decided to return the item. ... show more

  • Dangerous!
Color: 32mm Silver Hex Shank Drill
I tried using this to make kindling from oak that was already split. I was using a powerful handheld electric drill, it would sometimes get stuck in the wood, when this happens while you are torquing down, the result was that either the drill or the wood or both were going to start spinning uncontrollably. I had a foot on the firewood and both hands on the drill. The drill would fly out of my hands, or the firewood would spin around and bash me in the shins. It was dangerous! (Yes, I was drilling near the edge where it was thinner, per the instruction.) This method might be safe if you had a large drill press and a jig to hold the log. I will go back to using my hatchet. ... show more

  • Better alternative than non-welded nut version
Color: 32mm Silver Hex Shank Drill
The media could not be loaded. Are you looking for a log splitter drill bit attachment but were turned off by all the negative reviews left on the other products that were stripping the nuts on the first use? Well I had the same hesitation until I stumbled across this version where they weld the nut completely so it’s 1 solid piece. I used it on some pressure treated cedar just to try it and it works as advertised. I have not tried it on anything larger yet but I update this review if anything happens. UPDATE: I used this piece on some maple logs between 6-10 inches last weekend and it worked great. You do have to keep the bit closer the edge to get an effective split but it works as advertised if used correctly. To those saying this doesn’t work or they hurt themselves trying, proper use and common sense will fix that. UPDATE #2: Used this bit the entire week splitting more bits of logs with ZERO issues. A high powered drill like my Milwaukee M18 makes short work of everything I’ve thrown at it. I’ve been purposely trying it in the thickest part of the wood to try to break it and I’ve still had no issues. Highly recommend this splitter. ... show more

  • Garbage
Color: 32mm Silver Hex Shank Drill
Look at product reviews on YouTube. It’s a waste of $12. Even if you use a corded driver, it can’t split anything other than very old pine. Can shave small slivers off to make make kindling but that’s about it.
