I’ve been using this heater mainly for baths, and it’s been great. I set it to about 105 degrees and in around 35 to 40 minutes the water is perfect — hot, but never uncomfortably so. It’s simple to get going, and I don’t have to mess around with complicated settings. What I like most is the safety design. It shuts itself off once the water hits the temperature I set, and it even beeps if it isn’t fully submerged. When I unplug it, it’s not dangerously hot to touch, which is a nice detail you don’t really think about until you notice it. That gives me peace of mind, especially since I sometimes let it run while I’m getting things ready. The unit feels sturdy and well built, and it hasn’t let me down once. I’ve also tried it in bigger containers and it handled those without a problem. Just make sure to use a heavy duty extension cord if your outlet isn’t close — I grabbed one rated for 1875 watts and it’s been perfect. Overall, I’ve been really impressed with how fast and reliable this little thing is. I wasn’t expecting much, but it’s made my routine easier and more comfortable, and it’s definitely one of those purchases I’m glad I didn’t overthink.

I bought this heater mainly for buckets and bathtubs, and the effect is very satisfactory! The heating speed is very fast. A small bucket of water can be heated in about 10 minutes. The thermostat is equipped with digital display, so you can see the water temperature at any time, which is very convenient to operate. There is also anti-dry burning protection, especially it uses iron fence, which is safer to use compared with the plastic fence I bought before. The wires and plugs are also relatively strong and look very durable. The overall workmanship is solid, and there is no strange smell or noise during use.

Cheap! The first one I bought didn't work at all (wouldn't power on). I got a replacement which lasted 4 weeks (just long enough so I couldn't return it) before the heating element burnt out.

After nearly burning our house down with another pool heater, I wanted to love this one. It monitored temperature, prevented overheating, and an alarm sounds of the water runs out. Unfortunately, the alarm is not loud enough. The thermostat will only heat TO a certain temperature… once it shuts off, you have to turn it on again. And it’s not super powerful. It will take most of the day to heat a 100 gallon stock tank from 75 to 95, and it’s a huge drag to come home from work or come out in the middle of the night and find the temp is 80, 85, or 90, when it’s set to 100 degrees.

This thing is a game-changer. I was skeptical at first because of how compact it is, but wow - it cranks out heat like nobody's business. Water gets hot fast, stays hot, and I'm not constantly babysitting it thanks to the thermostat doing all the work. Setup was dead simple, and I love that it doesn't hog space in my garage. I originally bought it for my dog's outdoor bath station during winter, but now I'm using it for all sorts of random projects. Even used it to help thaw some frozen pipes last month - worked like a charm. The safety stuff is legit too. I'm not the most careful person, so knowing it'll shut off if something goes wrong is clutch. If you're on the fence, just grab it. Way cheaper than calling a plumber or buying some massive tank system, and it does exactly what it needs to do without any drama.
