It’s a great for my medium sized geriatric cat. The install wasn’t complicated and with an extra set of hands it went smoothly. My issue is with a Maltese that has no athletic ability yet manages to limbo through the door opening when the electric cat feeder sounds off. If my cat weren’t riddled with arthritis, I would have looked for a door with a smaller diameter. In short, get a smaller door if you have a slender, nimble cat and a dog that moonlights at Cirque de Soleil.

The media could not be loaded. I this in order to put a litter box downstairs in a shoe closet because we need the extra bedroom.Very easy to install. Instructions were very clear. I used a reciprocating saw without taking the door off to cut the hole. The guide was a perfect fit. The cat is well aware how it works, which is great. This was the cheapest option out of all of them on Amazon, but they all seem to be the same thing. I have a two-year-old cat that is relatively medium size so I did get the extra large for him to grow into.

The instructions do not mention on actual required and recommended tools especially for a little plastic over hang. Whole template is not big enough for what you actually have to cut and the instructions are not clear and accurate. Could do better. But cute though. Would not buy again.
