Half of the developer bottle leaked in the bag. We attempted to use it anyways but it only gave us half of the bottle of color for the hair. I was very disappointed by this. The manufacturer needs to be sure the bottles are very tight before packaging. I will probably not buy from here again because I couldn't even get a replacement without returning the original which we used trying to see if it would stretch. It did not. ... show more

I have used ASTRO BABE twice and both times I have loved my results - the color and the shine. The color isn't one note either. It has dimension which doesn't normally happen immediately after a full head application. There aren't any eye watering ammonia fumes either. It doesn't wreck my hair and the post color treatment is incredible. I am surprised by the negative reviews because I haven't experienced any of those problems. I use 2 boxes each time so that my hair is completely saturated and leave it on for 45 minutes. I also only wash my hair once a week so that may explain why I don't have the problem of my color fading so quickly. All in all, this is the best at-home box dye I have ever used. Well I'm a guy and have or did have platinum blonde hair, my hair is picky when it comes to dyes! The reviews I read we're about 50/50 so I took a chance lol. My hair turned out great and with the (Astro Babe)/Lavender that I thought I'd look good with! My techniques I used is I pintch my hair,use a pick not a comb and go in north,south,east and west directions multiple time's. My hair is thin so I left this dye in my hair for an hour and a half with no damage done! This would probably be harder for women because of the length of hair etc... I gave a 4 ⭐ because most dye products have the developer at least at half this does not but since my hair is shorter it was plenty for me and did not have to use all of it. I like the fact this does not smell or cause any sting to the scalp! I look good in burgundy and now this lol. My hole process time is about 3 hours so patience is key to I think. I also leave the Hydrater in for 20 minutes not 5 as this makes your hair softer and shiny! Hope this review helps with your hair and your thought's! Thanks... ... show more

Pinky Rose Gold Blonde is NOT Lavendar! Super unhappy with this purchase. Bleached her hair to a white blonde to ensure Lavendar came out. We got this for a wedding Saturday an the color is a Pink tone an fading fast. It's not purple at all! Extremely disappointed! Tried to see if I could get a replacement sent out by Friday but it only offers a return on a defective item. How do you return something like this???? If I can't get a replacement in Lou of the obviously Pink turn out I would like my money back please! DON'T BUY IT. ... show more

So I first looked at this color because of the brand, and of course it’s a pretty cool color 💁🏼♀️. I also liked the fact that all you had to do was mix the color with their “premixed” high lift no bleach developer. Of course the box tells you that your hair is going to be super healthy and shiny when done. Well, I will say it was super easy, awesome little kit (the box folds into a little tray), and it even lift my hair color a couple shades, however, it faded fast and my hair is not shiny at all. ... show more
