This full size heavy duty stainless steel laundry pedestal does indeed feel heavy duty. However, the coating is not the best and had scratches and missing spots. Not a deal breaker, but for such high price they could pay more attention to the quality. It does functions well and I see no issues so far. I could recommend it.

I have a "portable" (it's on tiny wheels, but its but very heavy and bulky) inverter air-conditioner in my basement, but the exhaust tube on that has trouble reaching the small, high basement windows -- and the hose can't be easily extended beyond the length it comes with because it's a special dual hose-in-hose design for balanced air circulation -- so every summer I have to rig something to get the AC high up enough off the ground that the circulation hose can reach the window.... And this laundry pedestal has turned out to be the ultimate solution -- I wish I'd bought one of these years ago! It's very strong -- it can hold up my weight without a problem, and it has been holding up my big AC for weeks now without any issues, not even a little wobble... And it adds a perfect amount of height -- not only does my AC's exhaust hose now comfortably reach the high windows, but I can even use the space below the equipment pedestal to store things (like my boots) to get them out of the way where I didn't have any space before. Assembly was pretty easy -- and the steel connecting bars helpfully have measurement markers on them, so you can space everything out evenly.... The one tricky bit was getting all 4 bars lined up and measured out exactly, though -- it got a bit finicky, as some of the bars could end up slipping while trying to adjust one of the other bars, etc., and they don't slide all that smoothly (maybe I should've applied some a little bit of soap, oil, or WD-40 as lubrication), but once everything is spaced to the size you want and you lock the size in place with the screw-down knobs, it's all good. The only downside is that there's no built-in or included solution for filling in the open space inside of the square -- which I guess is fine if you're balancing equipment on this that's a perfect square or rectangle that can be made to balance exactly the edges/corners of this pedestal, but I wanted a completely flat, solid platform .... So what I ended up doing is adding a heavy-duty plastic AC Condensing Unit Support Pad to the top of this -- and that works perfectly. (Another reviewer mentioned cutting a piece of plywood to size as the topper for this -- that's a good idea as well.)

Very easy to put together, issue was the self tightening screws kept loosening up with every wash. I had to return the item but, would be great for elevating a refrigerator or something that won't loosen the self tightening screws.

Get your washer or dryer on your level. Like I'm 39 but my back is 79 therefore pop lock and dropping is over. Bending super low to get on my washer or dryers level is annoying. Plus my dang back gets so mad. So this functional nicely built a d great quality pedestal gets things on your level. It looks great. Easy to assemble. Gives you some extra storage space as well. So give your back a break and get them on your level.
