I just finished assembling and installing this rack. I am seriously pleased with this purchase. I'm going to gush on this product like I never have before. Often when examining such things, "what were they thinking?" is what goes through my mind...NOT IN THIS CASE.! There are a number of things that impressed me: #1 Packaging. Seems like no big deal until your item arrives scratched and dented, or worse with missing parts because the packaging failed. This rack came in a heavy carton, with all parts well contained in internal dividers and the bike holder parts in their own inner carton. EVERY part was individually bagged and taped, the hardware was bagged in several step specific batches so that you don't have to sort through it to complete a given step. The outside of the carton was fairly beat up, but nothing inside had the slightest damage or even a blemish on the paint. There was exactly the correct number of every hardware item. Perfection! #2 The assembly/user manual is a work of art. Clear directions, excellent illustrations, and produced and printed to a very professional standard. Lots of companies put this sort of effort into advertising brochures, but once a sale is made, you are left with poorly photocopied instructions, maybe a link to low res PDF, or worse, left to figure it out on your own. The parts that are similar, but different, are engraved "right" and "left" not just marked with a sticker that will fall off. As for assembly, it is minimal, and much comes pre-assmebled...only what had to be done to fit in a reasonable sie container and not be damaged in shipment is left for the customer. #3 There are some features that are very nice, and yet are not required for the basic function of the rack. I would bet that somewhere an engineer had to argue with sales and management to include these to make the customer happier. One is a clever mechanism that takes the wobble out of the receiver connection. Lots of companies just assume the customer will put up with the rack rattling over every bump, and since they got paid already, it is the customers problem. The second is an adjustable depth stop to allow inserting the rack to the correct depth in YOUR receiver. With the weight of the rack cantilevered well aft, it is not easy to make the fine adjustments needed to insert the locking pin (a bolt in this case). In my case this is especially welcome as I made a custom "invisible" hitch and the locking pin needs to be inserted in a spot that is only poorly visible when laying under the car. I am now planning to add similar stops (not adjustable) to all my hitch accessories. If the bean counters knew engineering was doing this, then they damn sure would have tried to stop it. I mean who cares if the customer has to spend 5 extra minutes finessing it into position each time they install it? Clearly SOMEBODY at this company cared, and that person got their way! Finally, there are some safety straps included. Each comes with a velcro tie to tidy up the extra. I have a whole stash of such velcro ties because NO other company bothers to supply them...a little thing that shoes they are thinking about what the customer needs. #4 EVERY tool needed for assembly and installation is included in the box. One of the wrenches even includes a convenient notch for opening beer bottles. Brilliant. #5 All three of the locking features use the same key. At least one of the big rack companies does this, but I have had to purchase and change lock cylinders to make it all work. This company went to the effort to insure I only need one key for the product....THANKS! #6 There is no doubt in my engineers brain that this rack will handle the weight it is rated for. They didn't scrimp. #7 There are some plastic parts to make things adjust smoothly, but they are all backed by steel, so the plastic doesn't bear any load except compression. If the plastic should crack, it will probably not effect function at all, at certainly wont dump your bike on the road. I went ahead and spent the extra to get the load rating, but if I had known how well designed and executed this product is, I would not have begrudged the price at all. Totally satisfied.

The bike rack is working fine, I am carrying my e-bike which weighs above 65 ibs. Slight movement but I think it’s ok. Price is a bit lower than other brand. So far so good.

Easy enough to assemble but one piece was screwed so tight I had to have my boyfriend unscrew it so I could not finish assembly. Holds our two e-bikes (EUY fat tire and a MTB Cyberbike) without worries of them falling off and the locks work well so we do not have to worry about thief. My only issue is that I had to remove the bottle holder on one bike to clamp the locks down.

I am impressed with this bike rack. It was packaged really well with the individual items/parts marked clearly. It was easy to assemble (and I'm a senior gal). I appreciate the handle; it makes lifting much easier. Sliding the tire supports on is tight; I ended up using a rubber mallet to help them slide down the support bar. It comes with the tools needed to assemble the rack. I appreciate that you can order additional hitch locks. As I need a hitch adapter, I'll need two locks. You can order it keyed alike if you order from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't offer this item. My only complaint is that the instruction manual isn't the best. You-tube videos help alot.

We have 2 eBikes, 60-65 pounds each. This rack has worked well so far. No issues. I replaced the wheel straps with some better velcro straps. I also wrap wide velcro around the hold down bars and use a tie down strap wrapped around both bikes as added precaution. The hold down bars have always held fine for me but, just in case of an unplanned release, this should keep everything together until I can stop and re-set them. I love the folding feature, as I have a smaller garage. I actually replaced the tilt-down release pin with a bolt and washers. to remove some wobble. Quite tight now. I can still fold down the center pole and open my car hatch. I was not planning to tilt the whole rack with two eBikes on it anyway.
