Very powerful, replaced 2 pumps I had for half the price. Controller let's you fine tune a lot more than other cheap pumps I've used. Since you can adjust power and frequency by 1 percent increments, the pump can make a whine , but you can definitely play with the power and frequency and keep the same flow and eliminate the noise. That's why most pumps won't let you adjust so finely and have set programs. As long as it lasts half as long as my last two hygger pumps I'll be very happy

I have had Hygger equipment before so I know the brand is good. Installed this on a 10 gallon low so it pushes waste up to filter. It’s been a couple days and seems to work great. The build quality is good. Not many companies have a small gyre. It can rotate up and down and the magnet is strong. Controller is easy to program. I like the other controller they have for the mini Powerhead better but this one does the job. You can deff hear it when it’s on, but not that loud. The size of it is super compact. The power at 100 is surprising.

The rotor has a small peg at the end of it which was slightly too large to properly spin within the case. As a result the motor would spin for a moment, then stall, and ER04 (motor blocked) would appear on the controller. After manually spinning the rotor inside the casing for a few minutes I was able to wear away enough material for the motor to spin itself. After this, the wave maker worked great in my pleco tank to provide a strong current.

Used this for my 75 gallon and even with it turned down. To 30% this thing is powerful. Esthetically pleasing appearance in the tank. LOVE the ability to control wave types as well as being able to adjust the flow rate.

I am really upset with myself for purchasing this item. It does not work properly and is extremely difficult to try and program. It seems to have a mind of its own, and regardless of how you want to program it, the wave maker wants to re-program itself and it changes seemingly whenever it feels like it! It is very poorly made and does not move the amount of water it is advertised to. I feel it was a complete waste of time and money!

I bought the hygger 070 wavemaker and love this so much. The wavemaker runs very quietly and does a great job moving the water in my 75 gallon saltwater tank. Hygger has a great support team to assist with any problem you may encounter. Great service and great product.

I had my order lost in the mail it was replaced when I put it in my tank it worked perfectly the lowest it goes to is 30% power max 100% moves my water the way I want it to in my reef tank. The only downside it doesn’t do reverse flow like the gyre but all in all I’d say it’s a great product.

First purchase of this item was great. Works fantastic and controlling the power is critical for my fish while allowing moving water to prevent algae. Needed a second one to better direct the flow on the other side of the tank. Unfortunately, after getting it set up, I received error code 4 which indicates something is blocking. Nothing was blocking. Reset it a couple times and would work for about 1 minute before the error happened again. Not a problem, returned for replacement. This is where the issue is critical. I received a clearly used device. Was willing to work with it but it didn't even turn on without getting the error code 4. Apparently this device has a big problem with this error code. Returned it and didn't try to get a new one again since it made me feel like the one that has been working for a couple weeks now will eventually have this error happen and make it unusable. Not acceptable for the quality I thought I was getting.
