    • DO NOT BUY – Lasted Only a Few Uses Before Exploding!
I purchased the Hydrotech Expandable Hose expecting a durable, high-quality product, but I was completely disappointed. This hose is an absolute waste of money, and I highly advise against buying it. At first, it seemed promising—lightweight, flexible, and easy to store. However, after only a few uses, the problems began. The material felt flimsy, and I noticed small leaks forming near the connectors. I was careful not to overextend it, yet the hose suddenly burst wide open, sending water everywhere and making it completely unusable. This was not due to high water pressure or misuse—I was simply using it to water my garden like any normal person would. The "durable" outer layer quickly deteriorated, and the inner tubing failed catastrophically. I’ve owned much cheaper hoses that lasted years, yet this one barely made it through a handful of uses. For the price, I expected something that would last at least a season, but it didn’t even last a month. The worst part? Customer service was completely unhelpful, offering little more than a generic response and no real solution. If you're looking for a reliable hose, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I thought this was a good hose until the hose end connection broke in two for no reason other than it's cheap plastic. It lasted one year with most of that time being stored in the garage. I definitely suggest that you don't buy this hose, the hose might be good but the plastic connection is garbage. ... show more

    • Lightweight and easy
This hose is lightweight and so much easier to use then my previous heavy hoses. I’ve tried a few expandable hoses that did not last. This hose works great and has not exploded on me like others. I have two now. Very happy with my Purchase. And it arrived earlier then what was expected!

    • Garbage product from a garbage company
Don’t buy this. As you can see in other reviews, the hose often fails in a year or two, and the warranty is not honored. I contacted the seller, and they denied any responsibility, saying to contact the maker. The maker says it is not their problem and to contact the seller. The conversation goes nowhere, and the hose is still useless because it leaks. After about 18 months of very careful and very limited use, the hose did burst near the nozzle. I have been careful with to handle the hose with care, empty it after each use, and keep it from extreme temperatures. Still, it’s useless and a waste of money. ... show more

    • The 3rd brand of expandable hose I've owned, including the 'original' brand & this is the best!
The hose is super sturdy, yet incredibly flexible, the connectors are very well made, and the warranty is not to be matched. 10 years is certainly reassuring that this company stands behind their product. I've now purchased 4 of these hoses and are throwing out the last of my "other brand" expandable hoses, the last having sprung a pinhole leak yesterday, though it has been kept in a sun-shielded pottery hose tub since I bought it only a couple of years ago. The Hydro Tech hoses I've bought are performing flawlessly and look forward to having a long, satisfying relationship with this company. ... show more
