    • DO NOT BUY – Lasted Only a Few Uses Before Exploding!
I purchased the Hydrotech Expandable Hose expecting a durable, high-quality product, but I was completely disappointed. This hose is an absolute waste of money, and I highly advise against buying it. At first, it seemed promising—lightweight, flexible, and easy to store. However, after only a few uses, the problems began. The material felt flimsy, and I noticed small leaks forming near the connectors. I was careful not to overextend it, yet the hose suddenly burst wide open, sending water everywhere and making it completely unusable. This was not due to high water pressure or misuse—I was simply using it to water my garden like any normal person would. The "durable" outer layer quickly deteriorated, and the inner tubing failed catastrophically. I’ve owned much cheaper hoses that lasted years, yet this one barely made it through a handful of uses. For the price, I expected something that would last at least a season, but it didn’t even last a month. The worst part? Customer service was completely unhelpful, offering little more than a generic response and no real solution. If you're looking for a reliable hose, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.     • WORST Hose Ever + Terrible Customer Service
The media could not be loaded. A terrible hose and terrible customer service. I purchased this hose on Amazon and registered it promptly via email for the 10-year extended warranty (a requirement). Five months after purchase the hose coupling leaked terribly. A new gasket didn't solve the problem. Contacted the company and expected them to honor their warranty. BEWARE: even though I bought this one on Amazon, they said it was sold by a third party not authorized by HydroTech, and therefore refused to honor the warranty. Their warranty claim page on their website had NO mention that they will only honor purchases from certain retailers. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of registering. And, further, even if it were from an authorized seller, HydroTech told me that the warranty does not apply to Hawaii and Alaska. A double whammy. Very disappointed. ... show more

    • Make sure to register the warranty!
We bought this July 2024 and used it through October 2024. We pulled it out of the garage in April 2025. It worked great until yesterday. It started spraying from 6 separate holes. We didn't think to register it, so we paid $50 bucks for a hose that lasted 6ish months. So disappointed.

    • Best expandable hose I've ever owned!
I've been through several of the flexible expanding hoses. None of them held up, despite the sometimes over inflated price I paid. This hose, by contrast, is excellent. It is flexible and expands to the 50 feet (not that I really needed that much, but it's good to have) and it contracts almost immediately when the water is turned off.
