I have used for about 1 month. So far it has not kinked. This is the best feature as I cannot stand a hose that kinks up all the time. It rolls up well on hose reel. Looks nice. Fittings seem solid. Only concern is there is less pressure using the jet setting on my handle however all other setting are fine. This does not concern me as I bought it for general use in yard watering plants etc and not for pressure washing. So far very pleased and thinking of buying a second one for the front yard. ... show more

Wow, I love my new hose. It is so lightweight, easy to maneuver and puts out lots of water. It is easy to put away as well. My watering time on our hot mornings and evenings has decreased significantly. I cannot believe it has 3 layers and it must weigh just ounces. I did not realize it was made in China, however it is distributed by an American company that I have contacted to register the warranty. I have not heard back from them yet but it’s been less than 24 hours since I contacted them asking how to register it. The included nozzle is great, however, that is the piece that may break I think. Also, the box states there are warnings with this hose concerning contaminants. It does not say to wear gloves so I am thinking it has to do with drinking from the hose. I hope it is not from handling the hose. It’s too expensive, however, looking on line, all hoses seem to be extraordinarily expensive now. Without a doubt, this is the very best watering hose I have ever had. If I needed to replace my front yard watering hose I would purchase another one of these. Oh, I don’t like the black color. I thought it was dark green but in person it appears black which makes it look like a long crawly thing in my yard. ... show more

It’s a great hose, light weight and really does not kink, BUT contrary to product ads you cannot drive over it. Someone drove over our hose and it collapsed. Because it is steel you can’t get it back into shape.

    • Tired of hoses that constantly kink during use

After decades of dealing with rubber hoses that eventually cracked and broke and constantly kinked when in use I found this hose that resists kinking and being made of steel reinforced, flexible rubber I doubt it will break anytime soon. Got the 100 ft. hose that should get me anywhere I need it.

The media could not be loaded. This hose, as far as I can tell, is a Bionic Steel in a casing. I had one of the for 3 years in the intense heat of the desert before it developed leaks. This hose is heavier, harder to maneuver quickly, and it also takes up more more space than the Bionic Steel, probably because of the outer casing. The hose was heavily cooled and i had to unravel it completely before using it. 5 minutes after hooking it up to a water source, the cheap plastic nozzle was broken (see video and picture). Not surprised. Even with the broken nozzle, the water flow was strong and the distribution choices were decent. I liked my Bionic Steel a lot and I am hoping this one is an upgrade and not an unfortunate mistake. ... show more

    • Hard to love a hose, but I do!
Light weight, fitting seem well made, heck, even the included plastic spray nozzle works great. After about a month it still works great. I don't know how many years it'll last but I'm buying more. Very lightweight too!
