We received this renewed product with "missing ink." Now, it wasn't actually missing, it was taped onto the back of the machine, so whoever packaged mine must've tried to do me a favor there. As for the printer, it prints incredible quality and the HP ink program saves us a ton of money on ink.

So this is the second time I tried order a HP printer from Amazon. They are 2 for 2 coming dead on arrival. The first one didn't come in an HP box this one did. The first one had a spider webbed display screen and I didn't even bother plugging it in, because I'm not making due with a broken screen one a printer I just bought that should be brand new. This Second one I just got is in an HP box, I open the box and it's laying in there as if it was just thrown in, not even standing upright or in the original Styrofoam protection for shipping. The ink is already in side the printer and the cable isn't in the little box it should be. This is supposed to be a NEW printer... not refurbished and even if it was refurbished it should have these details taken care of. It had a paper jam at the document feeder and the ink that is installed isn't even working. Then to top it all off when you go to return it.... YOU NEED TO PRINT THE RETURN LABEL!!!! How am I supposed to do that with this broken printer? This has been a very horrible experience, I guess I need to go to the store to pick up a printer, because it's now been several months without one and apparently you can't order one off Amazon. ... show more

First update. The printer arrived at 10:00 PM last night after a 9 day order ship cycle. The first thing I noticed was that the carton, the original HP box looked like it had been through a war. The second thing to see was the box top was not sealed and had not been sealed when shipped from this vendor. Lifting the box top open I noticed that the interior was gritty, as in fine sand. I haven't removed from the box as of yet, and I am doubtful I will. It will be a return for a second time for this poor printer. Saving $80 on a refurbished isn't worth the risk of ongoing problem. ... show more

    • Sold me a printer without a cord that is jammed.
I had to buy a power cord that didn't ship with it and when it finally went to work. It's saying it's already jammed. Don't work at all.
