The reason I bought the stairs is because it has storage that I could put the spa chemicals in to store. The storage was full of water the first time we got in the spa and when it rains and if I accidentally spray water when it gets low. Don’t recommend if you want to use the storage but otherwise the steps do what steps do.

This step is very easy to install, and it is stable and non-slip, making it very comfortable to stand on. Its height is just right, and it can easily help family members get in and out of the bathtub without the risk of falling. The material is also very durable and very safe to use. I highly recommend buying it!

We bought this step for a party we were having and therefore I had to make it work as there was no time for contacting seller or returning (that's on me). My disappointment was in a few areas, the worst was that one of the steps was missing any material in the screw hole for the head of the screw to tighten against (was formed wrong or trimmed poorly), the second was that after snapping the parts together one of the inserts was set too deep into the side not allowing the screw to reach the threads, the third problem was that the lid was warped left to right and therefore had a 3/4" gap on the right side when closed (so it moves every time you step on it). Fourth problem is that the storage area fills with water when it rains. I do understand that this step has great features but I fear that even at a great price point it will need to be replaced as it does not seem safe. UPDATE, I had the company that sells these reach out to me about my experience and they were very proactive and wanted to make things right. Although the step that we got was not what I would have expected the seller is an A+.

To sum up: Well made, durable Lets me get in and out of the spa more gracefully, rather than struggling to climb over high edges. This is a great addition to my spa. Especially like the storage space under the flap steps.

The user experience is much improved. The steps are stable and sturdy, and the non-slip design makes it safer for me and my family to get in and out of the bathtub. The material is durable and easy to clean. It is really a perfect partner for the hot tub!
