The reason I bought the stairs is because it has storage that I could put the spa chemicals in to store. The storage was full of water the first time we got in the spa and when it rains and if I accidentally spray water when it gets low. Don’t recommend if you want to use the storage but otherwise the steps do what steps do.

These steps have a clever design but the storage bag under step fills with water after it rains. I would like the seller you manufacturer to explain how to prevent this. Obviously this will make the steps not function as intended.

To sum up: Well made, durable Lets me get in and out of the spa more gracefully, rather than struggling to climb over high edges. This is a great addition to my spa. Especially like the storage space under the flap steps.

I needed steps to get into my small pool. This works perfect. The storage is not really functional. I poked 3 holes in the bag and now I don't get water in it. I also added rough tape so the steps don't slide on my deck.

If you can get it assembled, it's actually not bad looking. The assembly is terrible. It comes with a rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, but it does not work very well at all. If you have some anger and aggression to take out then it may be beneficial. Worst assembly I have ever done in my life. And the screw holes also, don't match up. So you're having to pull and tug to get him to align.

The media could not be loaded. Regarding "Hot Tub Steps with Removable Fabric Cover" I purchased these steps because they looked durable and sturdy. But they don't really feel all that sturdy. I'm 220 and when I walk up them, they feel spongy, even without the top 'rugs'. The rugs are very thin (see close-up video), and feel like they won't last 6 months. The steps feel like the hollow plastic they are, like a children's plastic toy. And the assembly is terrible! It is nearly impossible to hammer them together. They include a tiny mallet hammer. It is 1/5th the weight of a regular hammer. So I moved up to that regular hammer, still cloud not get the pieces to fit and snap together. If I got one side of the step to snap in, the other side would pop out, over and over. So I got a wood clamp and a sledge hammer. These are the right tools. The wood clamp could hold the first side of the step in place, and the sledge hammer had the weight to pound the second side into place. Not an assembly for a person without real tools, or a person who isn't very handy. I do like the way they look, and they do hold me up, but the squishiness of the molded plastic steps makes them feel cheap. They claim 500 lbs capacity, but it feels more like 250. I expected the pieces to go together much easier, and feel far more sturdy. I also expected the top 'rugs' to be as thick as a well made carpet, but it is really, really thin and un-remarkable. In the still image you can see how the flimsy 'carpet' looks on a humid day. I'm wondering how it will look after a good rain, or after Winter weather. I'm also wondering what I might replace the crappy blue rugs with. Thanks for reading my review.
