Using as a supply line to my trailer. Im expecting hot summers in the desert and got this hose due to its temperature rating. So far it does what a hose should.seems a little thin compared to other heavy duty hoses.Only been in use a week will update if needed.

This is a pretty standard garden hose. It seems like good quality and should last a while. I like the dark color though it does mean that any water left in the hose comes out super hot after a day in the Texas sun. I will say that it isn't "kink free" when pressurized as they claim. I am using mine in a hose reel and when I'm reeling it in or even just dragging it through the yard, it can still twist up and kink. It does go right back into shape once I untwist it, but I had hoped it would finally be an actual kink-free hose. Alas. But, it does what I need it to do and the price is about the going rate for a decent hose of this length.

Only used it twice and it sprung a leak. Connected it as an extension to a 50 foot that has spent 2 winters outside with no problems and the second time I went to water the garden vegetables and flowers and it sprung a leak. Connected to the outside spigot and now it shoots water out of the side. Defective or just poorly made product. Waste of money for me since I can't use it anymore.

My wife and I live on just under 4 acres of property in the middle of the woods on a 2,000 acre lake. We have over 40 Raised Beds of varying sizes and we grow almost everything that we eat. When we initially moved to the property back in January '23, we had the advantage of taking our time with the move and with laying out things on our property. One of the most important things that we did was pre-install our watering system for our gardens. We have three sources of water for our plants. The first, and most used method is drawing water from our private canal that feeds into the lake utilizing a pump system. The second way, and used only in cases where we are having issues with our lake portal is our well. We have a 213' deep well that taps directly into the Alachuan portion of the Florida Aquifer. The third way is through our Rainwater Collection System. This has a capacity of 750 gallons and we try to save this for SHTF Emergencies. All of that was to say that we have about two dozen garden hoses attached to our Watering System. We use the Garden Hoses for feeder hoses to each watering zone. Having this many hoses of varying sizes has made us "Amateur Experts" when it comes to Garden Hoses. When we ordered this particular hose, we were searching for a hose to be used for "spot watering" on plants that just don't get enough irrigation, no matter what type of sprinkler outlet that we put on them. We wanted a hose that was either 50' or 75' for this purpose. When we came across this one, with almost perfect reviews, we ordered it. Delivery was very quick. We had the hose the next day and immediately put it into service. One of the things that we have learned to stay away from with hoses are the ones that are designed with a HUGE, unnecessary metal Screw on and off "handle" on the female end of the hose. We have never owned one of these that lasted longer than 6 months before leaks started. No matter how many or what type washer that you add or replace with, the leaks continue. This hose DOES NOT have this stupid design. We attached the hose to our outlet bibs, a mechanism that we set-up when we installed the irrigation system. We put full pressure on the line and checked for leaks at the connections - you would be surprised at the number of hoses that we have purchased that leak right out of the package...at least 25% of the ones we have bought in the past. - This hose had absolutely no leaks when we set it up and still doesn't, as of this morning. This is a VERY sturdy 5/8" hose and seems to be constructed to last several years. The fittings on each end are high-quality and easy to turn. Just a few things that I should note. First, they claim that, when pressurized, the hose will not kink. We found this to not be 100% true. Our hoses stay pressurized because we have an anti-backflow valve on the entire system, so regardless of the water source, there is always pressure on the lines. We have had several kinks when working with the hose. Overall, I would not call it kink-free, but kink-resistant. This is, by no means, a big deal but, the hose color is listed as grey when it is actually as close to black as you can get. This makes no difference with our application, but it needs to be known. Overall, I would tag this as one of the better hoses that we now own. It is well constructed and I anticipate getting several years use out of it. I can tell you that this hose will be the one that we purchase when we have the need for another hose....which will be within the next 45 days when we add our beds out for Fall crops. I REALLY like this hose. You can't go wrong with this product. Buy it today.
