When you see the picture and more so, when you get the hose you’re first thought is “It’s just a roll of coil”. This hose is not what you’re used to but the output, strength, easy of handling and durability surpass your expectations and you’ll be thrilled with the purchase. I bought the 100 foot version and have not been disappointed. Easy to grab and go and more lightweight then you’d expect. Admittedly I’ve only had it 3 months but I was impressed enough to buy a second hose for the other side of my house. Great buy and while I’m sure I won’t need it the extra protection warranty was of such little cost for 3 years I bought it too. I was impressed by older comments by people who indicated they had complete support from the manufacturer when they did experience a concern that I bought the warranty feeling sure I won’t have to use it.

This is our second hose from the same manufacturer. The first one is already 2 years old and probably the best hose we ever had and we use it daily in summer season. It is very solid but light weight so you don’t feel like fighting with it. It never kinks and it’s so easy to maneuver around the garden. We love it so much that we ordered one for our front yard. The second one unfortunately somehow separated on metal coils and ruptured after only 2 months of use however, customer service was on it and quickly responded with offer to send us a replacement in a few days. Thumbs up!

We have used rubber hoses for the past 34 years, some connected over 100 feet, to water plants all over our lawn and garden. They were "kink resistant" and "mildew resistant" and <whatever empty promises> the garden center(s) offered. Eventually they developed weak spots that kinked, ballooned, and even burst. Moreover, they easily became filthy with dirt and mildew, requiring a wipe-down with a mixture of concentrated bleach and detergent. When we moved here, I discovered the stainless steel hose while searching through Amazon. Over the past 9 months of warm weather usage, it has been amazingly free of any kinks, easily coiling in a circle to hang on our hose rack. Even more wonderful, the mildew-proof, stainless steel did not require any cleaning after we drug it through dirt and over our driveway. If we only had this three decades ago, we would have saved a lot of money! With a thin wall construction, it is very light, so obviously, you cannot run over it with your car! I accidentally let a heavy bar fall over it, which left it with a constricted dent. I wrapped it in cloth and used some long-handled pliers to gently squeeze it almost completely open. It never leaked, and it was fine for the rest of the Summer! We are so happy with it that we purchased another to go with the first one! It is an excellent investment.

I bought the 100 ft hose. Doesn't kink. Lighter, more manageable and easier to handle than my previous regular hose. The main drawback is the lower pressure and doesn't shoot as far. With the nozzle closed, turn on the tap and you can feel the pressure build up. Open the nozzle and the water shoots far and then drops. I don't know the physics of it but suspect it has something to do with the expansion nature of the tube. I'm fine with it since I can reach all the places I want. So I recommend getting a longer one than you think you might need.

I needed a new hose and i've actually purchased three different ones that ended up being terrible. If it gets too cold outside one will snap and it has holes in it. The one that is supposed to inflate and get bigger had another problem. The Old fashioned hose even have another problem. Then I saw this unit and it was on sale. It was much longer than I needed, but you could not beat the price. It was easy to put on and didn't require any assembly. The quality is above average for sure. The hose has several different settings on it. Making it easy to water or wash off the porch. It performs perfectly. It is not the type of unit that has shrinkage, but neither does it break snap in the cold or rust. I love this hose. Why have I had to try 3 different things before I found it? This is the perfect tool for me. In my apartment I have a yard but I do not have a garage or anywhere to store this item. I just wind it up and leave it on the ground. In all the months i've owned it, it hasn't rusted or anything.

My old 'coils up' garden hose leaked at the faucet, developed a hole, and wasn't worth it. This metal-clad hose is great. It can be hand-coiled as easily as a soft rope - not stiff - and easily empties by putting the faucet/female end a bit downhill, and then picking it up as easily as one would a soft rope in hand. The faucet seal works w/o dripping - be sure to both hand-tighten the apparent brass hose-seal rotating element that connects to the faucet-seal itself. Very simple and obvious with the hose in hand. And the classic nozzle is functional & well made.

Our 1972 home had an outside spiggot on either side. One spigot is operational, so the other is left with the brunt of water provision. With a multi-hose adapter, we are able to attach 2 hoses, one for each the back and front yards. With 2 100 foot hoses, we can reach around the entire house. Of all the water hoses I have purchased over several decades, these are THE BEST, bar none. They are lightweight, maneuverable, and do not kink. We have several potted fruit trees and vegetables that demand water at least once a day in our Florida location. Our pool water evaporates a bit each day and needs replenishment a couple of times each month. We have also purchased the identical hoses for our North Florida farm, Papa's grass-fed beef. You can only imagine the utility we receive and expect from these necessary and invaluable hoses! They are (so far) indestructible, and worth every penny spent. They coil well and are unobtrusive. I had to convince my husband of their practicality since we have purchased "industrial" hoses previously on many occasions. None are even close in comparison. Do yourself a favor and buy your "forever" hose now. 5 stars!
