I've spent thousands of dollars on outdoor hoses over the years living in the AZ desert - they just don't hold up - especially with the heat and rocks. Then I found this hose. It's AWESOME. Very durable. The nozzle is solidly constructed - solid brass - no plastic. My only complaint. The rubber o-ring on the nozzle (on one of my new - 2 weeks old hose) keeps sliding off, causing the nozzle to leak heavily when turned off and water pressure still on. ugh. I slide it back on, but it slides off during the next use. I'm going to try a little lube, and if that doesn't work, I'll replace the o-ring. But, I still rate this product 5-stars. ... show more

I’ve waited 6 months to leave this review. I don’t typically write reviews, but this deserves one. Every year I ask for a new hose for my birthday, and every year my husband delivers. They all suck. They kink, leak, etc. I have a cactus garden in my front yard and I turned the sprinkler system off to the bed, so I can water when I want to. This hose has changed my life! I’m not kidding. It CANNOT physically kink, it’s so easy to roll up, so easy to pull around, it’s never leaked( even after taking off the sprayer and screwing on a fertilizer head), it’s not hot to touch, it’s lightweight, I can throw it on the ground without damage, …….i can go on and on. It’s actually a pleasure to pull it out and use it. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and looks great rolled up on my house. All of my neighbors comment on my cool hose. Have been searching for a hose that would last, and this one passes!. Well made and light-weight. Easy to pull around my yard. I was a little disappointed in the nozzle that came with it however, because it leaks at the end, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating. The ONLY real problem I see with this hose is that one should be VERY careful and watchful, so as NOT to step on it. It rolls VERY easily and therefore can be a hazard, causing one to fall! UPDATE 2-20-24 We got our hose out to use this spring and unfortunately there. Was a small kink. I was a like as long as it doesn't leak. Well when hubby turned on the water it had a spraying leak. Since my manufactures warranty was going to expire in May I got on it. They emailed me right away and said just send them a pic and they would send me another 100 ' hose. I did have to email them twice but I DO NOT think they were ignoring me, once I sent the second email I received my beautiful new hose within a week. They were even nice enough to send me their new nossel.They still get a 5 star review for customer service & the manufacturer warranty. I used it all summer and early fall last year 2023 and it really is still the nicest hose I've ever bought. As mentioned earlier I have bought many different hoses over the years and none compare to this. It's even lighter to move around than the rubber hoses. I could not wait to get this hose yesterday. I'm 5' &135lbs, so I'm a very little person plus Im 62 years old. This is the longest hose I've ever seen.Not heavy but very sturdy. I hooked it up to the nozzle on the side of my house. We have a large lot and our home sits right in the middle of it. I could go all the way down to and along my side walk and around back and front. Not once did it kink or knot up. It took me a week to choose one because I was so tired of getting what I thought was a good hose only together very frustrated with everyone of them even one I paid a lot of money for from QVC. I moved into a condo and as I don't have much use for a hose, I bought one of those "shrinking" hoses you see on tv. It worked fine for me - for about 3 months, and then it somehow developed a leak. Being angry with the pathetically short life span of my "shrinking" hose, I decided to try something a little tougher - metal! I had never heard of a metal hose and was skeptical when I first saw it on Amazon. After reading the reviews (and with the 3 month life span of my last hose still on my mind), I decided to give it a try - and boy am I happy I did! This hose is very light and super easy to maneuver around (it doesn't have the "memory" of rubber hoses). Trust me - you're going to be shocked at how easy it is to coil the hose up when done! And as you would expect, this hose is tough! I hate to say it but the very first time I used it, my screen door accidentally slammed on it - and nothing happened to the hose (no dent, no leak, no problem)! I bought a metal garden hose like this one last year and loved it. I decided to get another one. One of the best reasons for buying it in the first place was the weary task of trying to uncoil vinyl or rubber hoses. The metal garden hose doesn't get kinks, water flow is steady, it coils up easily for storage. I don't know yet about durability, but I have no reason to doubt that it will last well. It is supposed to be rust-proof! That all seems excellent to me. Others would also like it. Imagine when the weather is cool and you need to water dry trees & shrubs.
