    • pricey but worth it for me
Definitely pricey, but for my use case it was worth it. Primarily charging up a LifePO4 battery bank when there are many cloudy days and the solar can't catch up. Friends have a EU2200i so I was also familiar with those. For me, I can get the same amount of charging done in a little over two hours that would take three hours with the 2200i. Not huge deal, but I don't like the noise. It is more fuel efficient as well. As others have noted elsewhere, running near maximum capacity, the noise level is about the same as a 2200i. At low capacity, it is definitely louder. For the flooding/cold-start issue, I had some problems at first. I found out that by giving it a couple gentle pulls with the switch off then being sure to give it a solid pull for starting, the problem went away. At least down to mid-20s farenheit. ... show more

Came in original unopened box even though it’s listed as used. Honda 3200 fuel injected generator. I wanted fuel injection for ease of starting. Love this unit

    • Not Reliable.
I recently purchased this generator to up grade from our old Honda 2000. I have regretted it ever since. Right from the get go this thing has had problems. It turns itself off all the time with little load on it. At the 100 hour I had all maintenance complete and still, this thing just randomly shuts itself off. Several times with just the TV and a floor fan going. Took it back in for service and they can’t find out what’s wrong with it. I loved our last Honda but this EUI 3200 is a piece of crap. ... show more

    • Wouldn't start on 2nd day of use
I thought I would get the premium product, a Honda, because of their reliability and durability, since the generator was for camping and emergency use. Unfortunately, after one night of use, it wouldn't start up again. Yes, there was plenty of fuel, the switch was "on," oil level was fine, it just wouldn't start. As it's not returnable due to it now having gas and oil in it (hazardous materials) I'm stuck with having to go through warranty and support. Will update on how I fare with that... ... show more

    • Fuel Injected! More reliable then ever!
Finally fuel injected generator! The 3200 has slightly bigger engine then 2200 (130 vs121cc) provides a lot more usable power and not prone to gungup with typical fuel from gas stations. No choke or cleaning the carburetor (it doesn’t have one). Expensive? Yes! Because it worth it! With that much power you need to check what gauge extension cord you using especially if you trying to run 13000+btu AC or other active loads Very quiet and even more fuel efficient. It is however heavier then 2200. Which is a major downside (doesn’t come with wheels). At about 70 pounds it is more suitable for a fit person to handle. I wish it was lighter and with wheels to roll around as standard. Still light enough to be stolen:) No electric start as there is no battery - I with there was an option to hook it up to 12v and use inverter as a starter motor by providing modulated AC current to the inverter. And start it remotely via Bluetooth Overall great alternative if you running two 2200 Hondas in parallel but can get by one 3200. Or just sick and tired or bad gas staying too long and carburetor gum up’s. PS: Two 2200 may or may not be a great alternative. Two generators are cheaper, easier to carry one by one, you can run just one or the other and being carbureted relatively easy to convert to run on propane or natural gas. ... show more
