I rarely write reviews, but I am just really impressed by this little vacuum! I have hardwood floors, one 5x7 area rug, and a few throw rugs here and there. I would generally sweep and then dust mop the floors and then vacuum the rugs, so I was looking for something that would simplify my life. Some stick vacuums are hundreds of dollars and I just couldn't see spending that much. I did an Amazon search for highest rated and this one popped up and was in my price range. I didn't have high expectations but thought I'd give it a try at that price, and wow! I'm like, where has this been all my life! It was easy to put together (and I have high anxiety about such things) and I appreciated that, even though the instructions were written by a non-native English speaker, they were very detailed and it looks like they went to a lot of effort. I REALLY like that the vacuum head has a light on it--that works great! You can really see all the dust you maybe hadn't noticed before. The head is very maneuverable and I really like the attachments and options and variations (make it longer, shorter various configurations). It has good suction and what I loved most is that I could go from vacuuming the hardwood to vacuuming the rugs seamlessly! No switching equipment! Woohooo!! The only "complaint" which is VERY minor, is that it doesn't stand up on its own, so if you pause while using it (like to pick up something) you have to lean it against something or else it will just flop over. Not sure where I'll store it since it can't stand on its own and I don't want to use the included wall mount, but that's no big deal. Just received this cordless vacuum yesterday, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase thus far. It is similar to a Dyson in that it cordless, bagless, has a charging base and comes with two mini tool. It is different than some Dysons models in that it does not come with a power mate brush attachment for rugs or one for upholstery, but it has a turn on button that stays on; there is no need to keep holding it down like one has to do for the Dyson. To me that was a super bonus because fingers can get quite cramped after a long vacuum session. Also, it has two speeds, which is nice for when you need to pick up fine dust or more concentrated debris areas. It also is not as loud as the Dyson, but the Dyson does have more suction power which explains the louder sound. This is a perfect vacuum for hard surface floors. It WILL NOT WORK ON RUGS! The power brush for this vacuum is meant solely for hard surfaces as stated in the description. Bonus: it lights up !! Great for leading you to the dusty areas that need more attention. Got this on Prime Day and got it for a very affordable price. Just need to see how long it will hold up. So far, I like what I see. One last note, it has a filter that can be washed and dried , and it comes with an extra filter as well. It comes with a two sided tool: one to brush clean the metal HEPA filter and a hooked side to pull out hairs from the brush roller. Love that it has the extras!! ... show more

So this vacuum exceeded my expectations. I have been researching different vacuums for the last three months. I have an English bulldog that sheds a lot and I was really looking for some thing to help me with the pet hair. I use this for the first time last night, and it is so easy to maneuver I can get under the couches without moving them out the way or picking them up, it charges relatively quickly. The battery lasted long enough for me to do my living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom and the area where my dog sleeps at night I use the higher power section and it got everything up so smoothly and I can’t wait to continue to use it. It’s also very easy to empty and clean the filter and I appreciate it getting the brush as well to help clean it and the instructions were very easy. I even exchanged out the different tools and use some of them in my cleanup today and I can’t wait to continue to use this. I refuse to pay over $400 for vacuums that weren’t even high ratings and some of them had very mixed reviews so seeing that this one had five stars and was a fraction of the cost was worth a try and I’ll definitely continue to use it and hopefully try out more of this company’s products ! For this price point, it’s the best cordless vacuum on Amazon. The battery life is excellent, it has a very attractive design, it’s light, the motorized brush-head light is a great feature, the adjustable telescopic tube allows for easy storage, the various head attachments are very handy, the suction power is strong, and I can vacuum my entire house and car on one charge. Other vacuum cleaners costing 4 times more don’t have the battery life, suction power, ease of use, sturdy construction, lightness, and quiet running motor as the HOMPANY cordless vacuum cleaner.
