Excellent quality. The finish is perfect. Bright and shiny with no defects. Heats up quickly and distributes the heat evenly,. Works perfectly with my gas stove. Handles are very strong. Heavy enough to last for a long time, but so heavy as too be hard to carry filled with liquid.

Just what I wanted. I was replacing one that had a teflon coating. This has a nice weight to it. Doesn't seem cheap and seems well made. Its not to large/small. Its great for making soups. I would buy this again if needed. for the price you can't beat it!

I love it so far but I did not have a chance to try it on a lot of things. But just from the feel it reminds me of some of those pots used in our hotel kochen I used to work in. It came with instructions which helps.

Since I discovered this company's great pots, I've been hooked by them. So each time I need a new 1 this is where I purchase them. I TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS THAT "WHEN I WANT TO BUY POT, THIS GUY IS MY FAVORITE DEALER" The first time I bought my POT from this guy "I had a great desire for a big package of pot, so I bought 16 Quarts of it. ( The 16 Quart stock pot.) The second time I bought POT from this dealer, I chose too little POT, (the 4 QT. size package of POT) The third time I bought the bigger package of POT from him. (the 6 QT. size of POT) I wish they had a 2 Quart POT for cooking 1 to 2 servings of veggies, for sale! I need 2 of them. I love his POT selections. COOKING POTS of COURSE. I LOVE MY NEW Pot Dealer. I love buying my POT fix from him. (If you think my review has drug overtones to it, Your right !) I'm always Joking around and I poke fun at anyone and anything. I'm relentless ! NEW PARAGRAPH: I burnt up the bottom inside it 3 times and to get rid of those burnt on messes I use a window putty knife to scrape off the bottom of the pan. I then follow up with a coiled steel scouring pad that's soap-less dipped in Dawn dish washing soap in water. This new type of pad doesn't scratch my pot, Darn pads don't rust either unlike Brillo and SOS pads that do. The pads also won't give you splinters. I never liked those pads due to the residue their soaps leave behind on whatever your cleaning with them. As for real Pot I've never bought any in all of my 60 years of Living. In closing to the seller "Where are the carrots next to the pot? I want my carrots !" LOL ... show more

I rate this based on my copper-bottom 4 1/2 quart pot which boils a nearly full pot of water in about 8-10 minutes. Since this holds more water it takes a bit longer, but cooks evenly and works very well. The extra capacity means less boiling out, and more food staying in.

I bought this specifically to lower my exposure to nickel. The pot is a great size for boiling pasta or making a small batch of soup. Things do stick to it differently than my old cookware but it cleans up fine.
