I recently received the Portable Sauna and this is such a great item to have for the new home we are building. We will be having a very large walk in shower that will be fully tiled and this fits well within the dimensions of that shower. I tested this in my current bathroom to make sure it would work well and I was very impressed with how quickly it heated up and how well it retained the steam. I would estimate it took about ten minutes to really fill with steam and reach a strong level. I closed it fully and the insulation really held in the heat and steam. I loved the option of opening the window which allowed me at times to feel a cool down on my face. When I was finished, I was quickly able to wipe it down and I like that I could keep it in the shower area and turn on my exhaust fan so it could dry faster. I felt very relaxed sitting in this and it honestly did feel similar to being in a steam room without having to leave my home. I am also thinking that once we move to our new house, since our shower space is fully tiled with a proper exhaust fan, that I may not always need to use the tent portion and could just use the steamer machine itself inside the tiled shower for a steam experience. Another option would be to use the tent as a wall to seal off my shower area when using. I like that this product allows me to explore different ways of using it and has flexibility. The setup was simple and I would say it took a minute or two to get it opened and put together. I did not feel overwhelmed with directions and it felt very simple to operate. I love that this gives me a spa like feeling without needing to pay for a spa visit making this an excellent value. This pays for itself compared to one spa visit. I also like how easily it fit into it's storage bag which does make it quite portable between my two homes. I do wish this sauna was a bit taller in size to make getting in and out of this a little easier. Even with that slight negative, I do recommend this portable sauna. I felt very relaxed after using this and my skin felt wonderful.

Great quality for the price. It's easy to use and stores well. It's been a lifesaver in a household of wrestlers who need to maintain certain weights to compete. Retains heat well especially for the price point. One of my favorite recent purchases.

After only one month of normal use, the handle has become loose from its original position. In addition, the tape on the control panel is peeling off. These issues indicate that the product quality is not meeting expectations for such a short period of use. Please see the attached image for reference.

A friend told me they got a portable sauna and said I should try one. I ordered the Homedics because of brand recognition and wasn't disappointed. This thing is awesome. It's small but puts out great steam and is relaxing and is so easy to store. It has good quality material that I think will last a long time.

I ordered this for my son and his family, I was a little worried because he is 6’2”, but he had no problem getting in and sitting. They love it; they sat down and watched football through the window! They said it heats up as mentioned, in about 10 minutes and temperature easily made it to the advertised temperature. He followed the directions for storing it, they let it vent, wiped it down and followed the folding instructions and were able to put it away easily in 5 minutes. Kids love it too!!
