So I have had this for a year now before writing my thoughts. I am in N Alabama so our weather makes a difference in the usage of the tub. Northern folks may use it differently in summer. What do you need: pH increase, pH decrease, bromine tablets, filters, test strips, and pool shocker. You will probably want a drink holder to add to the sides of the tub too, but you will need the others. I have not used all of what I bought as it pertains to these chemicals in a year. The bromine or Shock lowers pH and I adjust it upwards roughly weekly. When I use it: In the south, mostly spring and fall. In summer our nights are 75-80F, and if you get in you will sweat and will not be able to cool off, you will use it more when it’s just cool out, 40-60F outside. It is good for aches and pains. In the worst cold of winter it takes about 3 days to heat up, which takes a lot of power, almost like running a dryer nonstop. Turn on the jets and it’ll drop 10 degrees in 20min when its cold outside. It uses outdoor air for the jets. Once the water hits 96-97 it will feel lukewarm to you and you will get out. The filters need changing about weekly in heavy use times, monthly in midsummer or winter. The test strips about weekly, and the bromine tablets every couple weeks. In the worst of summer you can turn it off, it’ll stay warm on it’s own, basically the daytime highs. Drain and clean in summer. In winter it will run the heater nonstop and your power bill will show it if you do, but leave it plugged in and at least powered up because it has a freeze safe at 50F. If the water temperature drops it will turn on the heat to keep it from freezing, otherwise you want to drain it and put it away. The jets run 30min, in that time you will usually get from 102-104 to 97 or lower (in winter especially), and then you would get out because it’ll feel just lukewarm. Size: it says 2-4 people. No. It’s basically 2 people and maybe 2 children. You put 4 adults in this and its too crowded. In cold weather and/or 6 months it will need air added. You disconnect the unit and reinflate it as needed. Heavy rains will fill the top cover and then get into the tub, so you will need to drain some of that water occasionally. I usually sit on the side and let it flow out. Altogether it is a good purchase if you’re deciding on a permanent unit addition and it works well.

The best purchases I've made! I was able to get it on sale so that was a bonus! I ordered it as I have been healing from a car accident and just the stress of work right now. I always thought these were tacky and cheap but I was definitely wrong. Arrived quickly, heavy box. The included instructions were that great but easy to find videos online, making setup simple. Came with the spa itself, the control unit, the cover with inflatable with safety clips, a filter in housing, a chemical dispenser and the hoses to inflate it. Setup was fast, inflated quickly. Filling with water took about an hour and my water temp was 48 degrees…. So heating the water initially took A LONG TIME, almost 20 hours, to get that first time to 104. In hindsight, I should have used my propane camping shower to fill it the first time. But once water is around 78 degrees, I might need an hour to heat it back to 95. Love it! Can relax and watch the dogs play. Using Bromine tabs and other goodies, now I have a new place to relax after work. As others said, I regret not getting one sooner. I have ordered the cup / snack holder from Lazy Spa and the Lazy Spa LED light that screws into place where the discarded chemical dispenser connects as another review suggested. Yes, the blower on the bubble maker is loud but I kind of like drowning out everything. The bubbles are super great but will lower temp by 5 or so degrees like others said after about 15 minutes. Not a big deal but if you want to warm it back to 104, it will take two or so hours depending on outside temps. You truly can't go wrong with one of these. It is such a luxury to be able to go right outside your own porch and relax. Two of my friends have since used it and also purchased one for themselves!

I have been dreaming of owning a hot tub for a very long time. We couldn't afford a regular one, so this four-person Coleman seemed like a good option for us. We set it up in early spring and have been using it every night for about a week. Here is what I like about it: 1. It was easy enough to set up. The written directions are a bit unclear, but I googled a video for the set up and that made it easier. 2. It's comfortable. It does not come with any extra cushioning or headrests, but I have found that I don't need them. I am 5' 7" and am quite comfortable with my legs stretched out. If I slouch down a bit I can rest my head on the side and that is good enough for me. 3. The bubbles are fantastic. I was worried 60 jets wouldn't be enough, but it is plenty. As long as you aren't expecting massaging jets like you would get in a real hot tub, you'll be satisfied. 4. I have found that 104 degrees so far is the perfect temperature. Here is what needs improvement: 1. It takes an extremely long time to heat up. I have been finding that it heats up about 2 degrees an hour. I try to save some energy by turning the heat down to 90 degrees after we get out at night, but if I don't turn it back on in enough time the next day, we wind up with tepid water. 2. The timer is pretty much useless as far as I can tell. Once you set the timer, everything turns off (including the heat). It will turn back on for the time you set it, but like I said above, it takes a very long time to heat up. It will cool down considerably while it's off, so you have to make sure you have it turn on in enough time for it to be hot enough when you want to go in. Plus, you would have to reset it every day. Totally not worth it, in my opinion. I turn down the heat at night and then try to turn it up again in the morning. 3. It technically could fit four people, but you would all have to sit with your knees up. We are a family of three (two adults and a petite teen), and while we can all fit, it's definitely a little tight. Usually only two of us can have our legs stretched out at one time. I am looking forward to the day when my husband and daughter decide they don't want to go in so that I can have it all to myself. :) 4. When you put on the bubbles, the temperature goes down quite a bit. As others have said, the air gets pulled from outside, so you can literally feel the cold air being pumped into the tub. We usually soak a bit before we run the bubbles. It's not very cold out right now by us, so this hasn't been a problem. I don't know how much it will bother me in colder weather. We have only had it a week, so I can't speak to the longevity of it or how it performs in colder weather. I do have to say that keeping the chemicals balanced is the hardest part - but this would be an issue with any hot tub. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this to anyone who has dreams of a hot tub but can't afford an expensive one.

That's right, for less than the cost of daily therapy needed to recover from the cacophony of classroom life, I was bestowed with my very own portable oasis. By day, I mold young minds, navigate the intricacies of school politics, and dodge flying objects with a grace that would make Neo jealous. By night, I transform into the serene deity of my Coleman SaluSpa, wine glass in hand, audiobook whispering sweet nothings into my ear, as 60 AirJets bubble away the memories of glue sticks and glitter bombs. In the sweltering dog days of summer, this inflatable sanctuary became my personal sanctuary, turning off the heat allowed its waters to cool and soothe my sun-scorched skin, mimosa in hand because educators are classy like that. I've been looking at portable spas for a few years. I didn't want to invest in a built in if I wasn't going to use it. After returning from and extended business trip in the tropics I became used to relaxing at a pool after work. When I returned I finally pulled the trigger and bought this one. It arrived 3 days early so I was able to use it over the weekend. I have had it about three weeks now and decided I needed to write a review. It took like 30 minutes to set up, ridiculously easy in my opinion. I filled it and jumped in and hate getting out. While 4 people is a stretch of the imagination I only wanted it for me, but it fits two people comfortably. The bottom is soft and cushy. The wall is sturdy. It's amazingly comfortable. It just worked, no hassles. I thought the filters and pumped would keep it clean but it needs treatment. It got a funk and went back and bought the proper chemicals and learned how to maintain the water quality and it stays crystal clear. Definitely buy the chemicals and extra filters (which are easy to change) when you by the unit, you'll need them. The heater, bubbles and pump work great. It makes noise but that's expected. I have been cooling off in almost every night when I get home from work and couldn't be happier. The past couple nights it's cooled off in my area and turned the heater on. It took about an hour to go from 80 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. I love it and think it's well worth the money, especially compared to the thousands it would cost to have one installed. I don't see a delta in the experience I get from this and what I would get from a built in - but that's also my lifestyle. My friends also love it including one buddy who swings by when I'm at work to chill in my backyard for a refresh. :-)

Update after 18+ months: Everything included below still stands. However, after two unusually harsh winters in Texas (one historically brutal) and having it work great for about 18 months, the plumbing developed a leak that I could not fix or repair. The end result is that I would fill up the tub and at first it would lose half the water in a couple days. At the end, it would lose more than half the water in about a half day. I chalk it up to this being in extreme weather from 100 degree summers to those two brutal winters. One of the pipes going into the pump/heater just kind gave out. So we took it down. This proved to us though that we love having a hot tub. We are going to upgrade from here vs spending another 500 bucks on a year and half solution. if you're like us; we love using a hot tub on vacation but the idea of dropping 3k-5k or even 10k+ on a permanent hot tub for home was daunting. Not just the investment but the thought in the back of our minds "would we really use it"? So we opted for this portable solution instead that we affectionately call our "hippie hot tub". In short; We LOVE IT. Purchased in early November 2020 I waited until April 2021 before writing this review. No joke we used this at least once every weekend all season long. Sometimes twice! Being in North Texas our winters (usually) are mild to moderate. But even this year's severe winter storm didn't slow this hot tub down. We loved getting in it several times when it was snowing. We enjoyed it in the mornings with our coffee; afternoons with a cold beer; nights with glasses of wine or just to soak after a hike, workout or hockey game. A++++++ on all The other big factors you might be considering: Set up was super easy. Maintaining clean water and hot water again super easy. Even when it was cold it never froze up. the motor/heater/filter is great. The cover is easy on and off. Pro Tips: I bought rubber puzzle piece style pads to put on my patio first and then set up the hot tub on top of that. I also bought a furniture type blanket to provide extra cover and insulation to keep the water warm and the crap off the real cover. We always got in with the temp at the Max 104 and after the 30 minute bubble timer went off, it was usually right at 100; maybe 99. but still plenty warm. And its bubbles, massive bubbles, but not "jets" its a subtle difference but one you should consider. I will add this---this little hippy hot tub spoiled us! We went on vacation this spring and got in the 'real' hot tub at our resort and it wasn't as hot nor as bubbly as ours at home--even with 'real' jets Enjoy! Well worth the cost.

We absolutely love this hot tub/spa. We purchased it as a "trial" to see if we would use a spa at a vacation home. Once we got it set up, we used it just about every day and night. As a plunge spa, by day, and, hot tub by night. As every other review has said, the written instructions that come with, really stink. You'll have to find a YT vid (look for the one with the homesteading couple...that's the best one we found), and, you'll be good to go. Draining/deflating, the same ... find a YT vid. Once you've set up/taken down, once, it's a breeze ... 15 mins, each. Trying out this inflatable hot tub has confirmed, for us, that we will, indeed, use a permanent hot tub/spa, so, we will now take the plunge (ha!) and go the permanent route, later. For now, we are really enjoying this spa. Easy to set up (once you watch a vid), fills up quick, and, easy to drain/deflate. The enjoyment factor alone will have more than justified this purchase, within months.

I’ve read everybody else’s reviews and I have to say I’m not exactly sure what they’re talking about. I am a new hot tub owner I have never owned a hot tub before. My dad, who is the hardware software design engineer for computers, had a very difficult time putting this together because the instructions only show pictures of what you’re supposed to do and it’s hard to decipher. I put on the filters and I I threw the cleaning filter anything that floats in the pool I threw that in there only to discover later on that it did not have any of the chlorine tabs it’s just a floating device to put the chlorine tabs or bromine tabs in. So for the most part I’m pretty thrilled with it I’m 5 foot three and 200+ pounds so I’m short and chubby. And I found the hot tub to be quite spacious it’s just me I could actually float in it. There’s about a 2 foot section where there are no bubbles and that’s between the shorter distance between the two filters. I think that’s a design thing that they had to do because of the filtration system. The bubbles are really strong though even though they’re not jet jet stuff it’s very it’s very strong bubbles and it feels really good on your back. What I found really disconcerting is that an a lot of the other reviews they said that the heat doesn’t stay on when you turn on the bubbles. I did not find that to be true with mine that he did stay on when I had the bubbles going and it maintained its heat. I have to be truthful though I only wait until it got to 90° and then I jumped into the hot tub because I want to try it out I just had to and I turn on the bubbles but it’s just I was in there for over an hour and it stayed at 90° and it stated that the heating element was on and when I felt were they here where the water comes out it felt as though it was heating so maybe mine is an updated model. Backspace I did not find that to be true with mine that he did stay on when I had the bubbles going and it maintained its heat. I have to be truthful though I only waited until it got to 90° and then I jumped into the hot tub because I want to try it out I just had to and I turn on the bubbles but it’s just I was in there for over an hour and it stayed at 90° and it stated that the heating element was on and when I felt were they here where the water comes out it felt as though it was heating so maybe mine is an updated model? The lid for the hot tub seems to work pretty well what I’ve noticed is that the bottom you have to just both the top and the bottom straps in order to get a nice tight fit and you have to Squeezin and then push a little thing on the inside in order to get it to unclasp. As most people have said on on their reviews it really would be nice if they had included a starter cleaning kit for the for the hot tub especially for people like me who never owned a hot tub before. I’ll update this in a couple weeks after I get all the cleaning supplies and get used to using it and know how much energy it takes costs to to run it and I hope this was helpful for some people.
