The can itself looks good, the metal work is solid, no dings or scratches on arrival and packaged very well. The pedal works nice, the removeable plastic liner is also a nice touch. Two small issues. It's a little too light, or, it needs some non slip coating on the underside. It slides and moves a bit. If you live with children who are going to use this, they are going to constantly kick it back against the wall, it requires you to press the pedal straight down carefully. I think I'm going to try and mod mine to add some non slip rubber on the underside. Also, if you remove the liner and put in the included home zone bags, they fit fantastic. If you try a standard 13 gallon bag from other brands, it's just a touch too wide to make an easy fit, you have to fight to get it around. I'm almost certain this is a design decision to attempt to entice you to buy the home zone bags, which I may consider because they are good liners, but it does feel like a little bit of a cheap trick to force you into their bags. Still, it's a good trash can overall, I just wish the liner lip were a touch smaller to accomade standard 13-gallon bags a little better and more than anything they should add a non slip base to keep they heavy footed in the house from kicking it back into the wall every time they use it. ... show more

I was excited to get this. After unboxing and placing I stepped on the pedal to put a trash bag in. Broke! Would not close again. Even when I gently tried to push. Even when I’m disappointed in what I receive from Amazon order I never return and try to make it work. This? NO. It’s a trash can that’s costs over $100! It should work. This is going right back. Be aware they do not include return label for this item. You have to print yourself even if you choose the no print label option you are still instructed to print a label. Utter disappointment in the product and the no print option provided. It’s a kitchen trash can that costs $100. Lesson learned. I will follow up after I take it to ups store as instructed. If I’m told they can’t print the label I was told I would not have to print I will let you know. ... show more

This trash can was larger than most. Standard size trash liners will work, but only with extra effort. I received two free pkg. of custom sized trash liners. They work well. I haven't compared cost of the custom liners yet.

Trash can arrived nicely packaged, no dings or scratches, looks nice. Functionally, a few significant flaws. The bottom plastic is very scratchy and slides around very easily. The peddle requires a soft but firm press or the can moves considerably, especially with kids, and slams into the wall, whilst scratching the floor. The interior compartment fits very snuggly inside the can leaving zero space to tuck the trash bag in, so it will always show, this might bug some folks. Most importantly, standard grocery and box store 13 gal trash bags barely fit, you really have to tug and stretch to get it to go over the interior bin and stay in place, it's a wrestle and I see many a bag ripping in the process. The trash bags it comes with fit best but smell like granny rosewater and it's super pungent... I had to toss... the bags, not granny. Again, nice looking, but I'd not recommend if you have kids or don't have time to coddle a trash can. ... show more
