UPDATE… Rubbermaid eventually did reach out to me concerning the issue. After a bunch of emails and pictures they did send me a new garbage can and lid 😀 Also a plus was now my kids have a new giant box to color in! I LOVE this garbage can because it is an elegant white and very easy to work, but……it had arrived with a broken loop on the lid. I thought I could make it work because the other two loops were fine but that lid just did not like me. It would not stay secure without that end loop. I contacted the company so maybe they could just send me a new lid but no luck, I haven’t heard a peep. This sucks because not only was this can a little more than I wanted to spend in the first place but I did because it was pretty, but now I have go out and buy another garbage receptacle just to throw my garbage in 🤦🏻♀️ Make sure you fully inspect the lid loops before you have your kids color all over and inside the shipping box it came in‼️ ... show more

This waste can fits beautifully into our kitchen and cleans up very easily if something drips or splashes onto it or inside of it. It came fully assembled and the foot pedal opens the lid with ease. Also, the lid stays open if you need it to do so. It's a practical and nice addition to our kitchen.

Purchased this trash can to replace the exact model I already owned. The lid finally cracked. I purposely chose to buy this same can as it’s been very durable and holds bags very well. BUT, why on earth do the stickers need to be so difficult to remove?! I had to apply GooGone multiple times and scrape it off with a credit card! Now it’s all scuffed up before it’s seen the first piece of trash thrown in it. I know it’s just a trash can, but it’s annoying. ... show more

Why on earth do they send out this out without attaching the lid? There is no easy way to do it-I did find some guidance in one of the reviews but I still can’t do it. I am very disgusted with the darn thing. I will keep trying but I just don’t think it was the manufacturers plan for us to have this much trouble. Update. Got it on. Center in first, start working th right side, hold basket between your legs and pull the lid over to the left til you get it on. Don’t pull on edge of lid. This is a very nice trash can. It opens easily. It has a bag holder rim that holds the bag securely and releases easily for quick removal. The surface is easy to clean.

I like everything, except it does like to travel. Can is wide bodied. It has a large mouth. You will need at least 30 gallon bags. Easy to remove full bag. Easy to install new liner. Foot pedal, if gently used, works well.

It feels a little cheap and bulky, but it does the job. I don’t understand trash can prices lately, but this one is a decent price; which is why I decided to get it. I was needing a kitchen trash can, but didn’t like how it looked. I ended up deciding to put this one on my back porch just outside my kitchen door and putting a smaller one in the cabinet under my kitchen sink.
