I bought a few sets last year ...they were so good that I bought 5 or 6 more sets this year ... last year's were all wrapped around pine trees and I had to tug and pull pretty hard at times to get them down and they are all still working for another season now ... Time will tell how well they hold up, but they work well right now. There are a lot of extra options for lighting, but I don't use them. I stick with the old school static on. They were a little easier to hang than my previous c6 lights, but there will always be tangles and snags. I know the lights have their own timer. I use my own timer though, so I never tested the functionality of the lights' timer.. 4 strands were enough to perfectly fit around my porch, and sort of cover most of my dogwood tree. The pictures never do justice, but they are very bright, and I recommend them. If they burn out after one season I will update my review, but I typically expect 2-4 seasons out of my lights. ... show more
