Very easy to assemble. Don’t forget to remove the gas shock cover. Believe it’s orange. Mechanism is a little gritty at first but no one at the party complained.

There are much cheaper stools offered at Amazon. That's what they are... cheap junk. These are the real deal... big seat, heavy duty materials, well padded. I have tried the cheaper ones and returned all of them. Am glad I finally bit the bullet and ordered these $200 stools.

    • Easy assembly with just one thing to note…

These chairs are gorgeous. Soft, comfy, and very stylish but the only thing to note during assembly is make sure you take off the black cap from the leg base. This cap lays over the hydraulic pump, but it also blocks the lever from working if you fully assemble with it on. To remove the black cap is not in the assembly instructions but it’s fairly intuitive if you take a second look (which I didn’t). Just know that if you do fully assemble without removing the black cap, it will get lodged in between the hydraulic pump and chair lever which will then become an absolute pain to try and dig out. ... show more
