The bar stools were easy to assemble, comfortable, and look so pretty in my place! It's now also survived a year of moves, parties, and a cat, and they still hold up very nicely. The height is adjustable and the chairs are light, so they're easy to use in last minute home decor changes (and easy to move for cleaning days). The value for the money is great. I would just caution that, because they are very light, they can tip over if you're not being careful. They're more than sturdy enough for normal use, but I could see playing children may easily fall and/or hurt themselves.

The chairs came a litte scuffed. They are super light weight and if you have wood floors, they slide around very easily. They're super easy to put together. They're good for their price. If you want something sturdy, maybe spring for something a little pricier. They're comfortable to sit on.

Our first box took us about 20 minutes to put together and we knocked out the second box in less than 5 minutes. 2 bar stools per box. After setting them up around our bar.... Bought these over a year ago and they have held up nicely. Very steady and secure, even with lots of use. My son is pretty rough at times, and so am I, but they still look as good as the day I put them together. The range of adjustment from the gas cylinder is impressive! Speaking of which, they are easy to assemble, easy to clean and hold up well over time. I even bought a few more. ;>]
