I looked for over a year trying to find quality stools with arm rests. I wanted mid century modern and these do not disappoint! I was hesitant to buy anything linen for kitchen stools, but was tired of the "pleather" cracking or ripping. I gave these a chance and they are perfect (so far). They are very sturdy, comfortable, and look great! The height is absolutely perfect for an island counter. The size will accommodate most people. May be a little tight for larger sized individuals. I did spray with scotch guard to help protect the fabric. My kids like them and I'm not concerned at all about them tipping. It took my husband about 20 minutes to put them together. FIrst online furniture purchase, very happy and surprised by quality.. Have spent a very long time looking and was so glad to find these with swivel, arms and a mid height back. Very sturdy and stable legs, wide enough seat for most of us. If you are short legged, you may not reach the footring. All parts were received and in excellent condition. Assembly may be challenging for one person, easy for two with ratchet screw driver or drill. We bought bar height which comes with leg extenders which could be removed if you ever need just counter height. Seat cushion and back are a tightly woven material so can`t speak to durability as yet.. So happy our search is over. ... show more

Bought six. Love the stools. But, one of the stools could not put together because screws would strip going in the slots. Wrote repeatedly for credit or another chair. All I got was Hi Dear, warehouse very busy, will send shipping notice. Going on two months. Very disappointed Update, received the parts to put last chair together. It worked!
