My pressure is high enough to break other hoses. This one is holding together well. I like the color too. It’s highly visible and easier to avoid running over with the car. Another plus is its weight is so light. Time will tell for longevity.

Perfect for draining air out my boiler pipes and Rheem Performance Plus water heater. Never use it on hot water let the hot water temp cool down before draining. I like that it was available in orange (for my indoor use), I use a green 100ft for outdoors. The materials and quality seems fair for the $19.

This will work well for the issue I chose it for: the times when I run out of water in the nearby catchment and need to use the barrels that are much farther away. Previously I used a 5 gallon bucket to get water from those distant water barrels, but this year I decided to do something different as it is hard on my back to carry those buckets. The only real downside is for anyone needing a higher rate of flow through their hose, the narrowing at the ends will really have an effect. For me, I will be using a small pump so I don't think it will be any issue. The hose will be flexible enough for the growing season, or use in a greenhouse, but it is kind of stiff right now in my storage area...when it's far too cold to pump water anyway. Much better than the crappy brand name hose I bought last year though, much more flexible than that, and seems kink resistant too. Minus one star for the narrowed ends, 4 stars.

This is a very good quality hose and at under twenty dollars currently for 25 feet represents an okay value as well. There is much to like. First, it is very lightweight for 25 feet. Unlike old-school garden hoses these newer ones built with innovative materials tend to use much less material, being thinner walled, thus the lighter weight. Whether the lightweight materials can handle as much abuse as the old, heavier hoses remains to be seen, but upon inspection this hose seems pretty tough. For one thing the ends, the brass fittings plus collars, are clearly tough and quality-built. Presumably the hose material itself is built as tough, but time will tell. This hose is "better behaved" than old-school type hoses. What I mean by that is it's easier to coil and less springy to want to become uncoiled. That's a great feature for compact storage in a relatively small box. In fact this hose was delivered in a fairly small box. The inner diameter of 5/8" does look correct with the caveat that the brass ends, the fittings, narrow it a bit to more like 1/2". Since the narrowing is for a very short distance I think it's probably immaterial, but worth noting. Overall this seems to be a well designed and well made product. While it's bitter cold January now and I cannot test it outdoors, if after a season or two this hose fails in normal use I can come back to this review and note any problems.

I wasn't expecting much given how inexpensive this hose is but it's actually good quality and so far very durable. I tried the expandable hoses but I was never able to find a proper situation where the expanding quality was beneficial. They would expand in length but as soon as water is let out of the nozzle the water pressure would drop and the hose would shrink in length, which is annoying if the hose is stretched to its maximum length. This is a good non-expandable hose that is a good length for me. I like its stiffness and durability. I also like the cuffs around the ends that help immensely with tightening the hose to the faucet and nozzle. There are a couple of things to keep in mind with this hose. First, this hose is kink resistant, which means that it can (and probably will over time) kink. It's stiff enough to be resistant to kinking but with use and weather conditions, this stiffness may loosen, making it easier to kink. Second, the psi on this is on the low side, meaning the amount of water it can move is lower than wider diameter hoses. I discovered the importance of psi when setting up rotating sprinklers, which don't really work with low water pressure.

When I look for a garden hose I like to see brass fittings at both ends, some kind of transition from the fitting to the hose, and a quality non-kinking construction. This product has all of those features. The brass fittings are a must. If you buy a hose with any other metal for the fittings be prepared for a chemical reaction that will corrode at the fitting and ruin the hose and perhaps your spigot! I made this mistake, so I'm more cautious now. I have hoses that don't have a short covering to transition from the fitting to the hose. Without that, you'll have a stress point where the hose meets the fitting and that will be the likely fail point. This hose has good solid stress relief at each end. The hose itself is a bright green that you can't miss when it is on the ground. In my area the grass grows quickly and it is nice to have a hose that doesn't blend in. The construction of the hose is light and resistant to kinking. At a 25ft length the hose is very manageable. I try to avoid the 50ft and 100ft lengths, because they can be a chore to stow properly. I think it is better to combine several lengths of shorter hose. This hose is just right at 25ft long. The hose comes with 3 extra washers, very handy as they need to be replaced occasionally, or you can loose one if it falls from the connection. I'm happy with this hose.
