I ordered this Heavy-Duty Garden Hose 25ft by EOOIO to replace a very old hose that has seen better days. I wanted a conventional type hose that would last for years like the one it is replacing. Hopefully this is it. It is called a “hybrid” hose which seems to be the latest fancy word for multi-layered construction which has been used for hoses for decades. The hose feels substantial and appears to be constructed nicely. It is a nice blue color and it truly measures 25 feet. The end connectors are made from nicely machined brass which resists corrosion and provides a nice smooth action when installing attachments. They are thick enough to not deform if you accidently step on them. Now here is my favorite feature, the plastic strain relief ends that cover the most of the brass fittings also serve as a tool for easy tightening of the hose ends. The female end swivels to allow you to tighten your attachment easily for a leak-free installation. The strain relief on the male end does not swivel and simply provides your hand with a larger area to hold for making a solid connection. The flowrate from the new hose is no different from my old hose and the velocity is the same, so the flow areas are very comparable. I have no issues with this new hose and I am hoping it will last as long as the old one.

I have a 75 foot long 3/4 inch garden hose. It is pretty heavy and hard to pull. I wanted a hose that is smaller and lighter for jobs that don't need the big hose. This hose has a 5/16 inch inner diameter. That is enough for most of my watering applications. This hose has nice brass fittings with plastic grips that make it easy to get a tight seal. It has a nice rugged outer layer that is UV resistant and feels good. Inside the outer layer is a hybrid polymer layer to prevent bursting and a polyester inner layer for extra strength. The hose is rated for 200 PSI operating pressure and 600 PSI burst strength. That is much higher than the pressure from my well. It is nice that it came with three extra washers. I can use them for this hose or for my sprinklers that have older washers that may need replacing. The description in Amazon says that it is usable down to -40 degrees. I don't want to have water inside freezing at that temperature. The expansion of the ice would probably stress the hose. I think that they are saying is that it will still be flexible at that temperature. Overall, I an very happy with this hose.

This is a great hose. Wish I could give a 4.5 stars but can't and there is a bit of room for improvement. The material on the hose appears to be strong and flexible but it is not reinforced at all. For a heavy duty hose I'd hope to have a bit of wire running through the hose material to provide just a bit of stiffness. They claim no kinks but in pulling it I hit a couple times where it did roll over on itself and kink. Very easy to shake out but that lack of some metal in the material makes it possible. It has GREAT ends that are super easy to get on and off the bib and the nozzle. LOVE THAT!.

This hose is great! Even though it came rolled up, it straightened out within a few minutes. It has a 5/8" diameter, so it's a bit on the heavy side, but very pliable and resists kinking. The bend restrictor on either end provides extra protection against breakage in the areas most subject to wear. It hooked up easily to my yard faucets with no leaking and I had no problem attaching my various sprinklers, nozzles and sprayers. It comes with one washer installed and 3 extra ones. It has brass fittings which are supposed to provide for the longest life and better performance since they are less susceptible to cross-threading damage that can occur with aluminum and plastic fittings. Good water flow. The 50' length is plenty long enough for most of my needs, but, if you need 100' for some jobs, you can buy 2 and hook them together. Much more convenient to do that than to drag 100' around all the time. Only down side for me is that I sometimes like to control the water flow with my hand, but due to the way this one is constructed, it has to be used with some sort of nozzle. Time will tell how durable it is in hot FL weather, but very happy with it so far.

I can't say how it will hold up or what actual water flow is like through it yet (it's barely February and not the weather for outdoor water use yet!), BUT I can comment on the construction! It's a nice (albeit unusual) bright blue color, which is great for not running it over with a lawnmower when left in the yard (yes, I've done that before...). The jacket is a pliable but sturdy-feeling polymer, and the hose doesn't kink until you put a pretty severe bend in it. The end connectors are very substantial brass units, with large strong strain relief grip sections leading up to and connected to the brass connectors. This makes the ends of the hose very easy to hold and to twist when attaching the end threads to a hose bib and sprayer. The hose itself is a 5/8" ID hose, so it can't handle high volume at higher pressures, but it will be fine for 99% of applications. The connectors are 3/4", so they won't constrict the flow at connections. Everything I can see so far says this is a very nice hose!

The hose works just like a garden hose is expected. I like the blue color as it is easy to spot when on the grass since it does not blend in like the common green hoses. It came with a bag of a few additional rubber washers that go into the fitting on the end of the hose to seal connection and prevent leaking between hose and water source. The hose is very light in weight but feels solid and also has bend restrictors on both ends. The bend restrictor on the female coupling end rotates very freely which makes connecting it to your water source (faucet) very simple and easy. The hose I acquired is 20 feet in length so it is handy for small jobs, but I would suggest, at minimum, a 50-foot water hose for most uses around the house, yard, and garage.
