Does it work? Yes, it amplifies sound so that things around you are louder. Does it do it well? I'm not sure. I have mild hearing loss in one ear so I was interested to try this to see if it would help me hear the television better on that side. And it does in a way. Like at first it was kind of wild to have the sensation of sound noticeably register in both ears. I haven't been checked in awhile and I think my hearing may have even gone down a little more in my not so great ear. So *hearing* out of that ear was an experience. The only problem for me was that the sound was pretty tinny, like there is no bass or low tones, like the sound was coming from a cheap transistor radio vs. my nice widescreen TV. Also it picked up other sounds much better. Like planes flying overhead, traffic outside the window, someone walking down the hallway (which I never hear.) It also picked up sounds I made, like the rustling of my clothing or my hair brushing over the ear piece. Also when the volume is turned up and things are quiet I could hear static. Not loud but... So for MY intended/hopeful purposes, it was a little bit of a disappointment. But I think if you really can't hear much of anything, this might actually be a cheap way to actually hear what's going on around you. Because the hearing amplification does really seem to work. It also picks up voices pretty well because sitting in our living room, my husband sits to my right which is my not so great ear and I sometimes can't hear what he's saying, especially when the TV is on. But I could hear him loud and clear with the ear piece in, even when the TV was on (to my left.) So it's probably not great for cancelling out ambient noise as I've heard real hearing aids are supposed to do, but then these don't cost thousands either. So if you're struggling they might be worth a try because you really can't beat the price. ... show more

I am very pleased with this digital hearing aid. The hearing aid is very comfortable to wear. I like the look of these hearing aids and they don't seem to stand out so much that you are wearing a hearing aid as some other types do. They stay in my ears without falling out when bending over, doing chores, etc. I really like how easy they are to use - especially just being able to tap them to turn the volume up or down. They charge quickly and a charge lasts for a long time. There is a definite difference in my hearing when wearing these hearing aids. I have not gotten any "feedback" or tinny sounds when using them. ... show more

If you are hard of hearing and need a little assistance with improving your hearing, these hearing aids work well. They are comfortable to wear, stay in your ears, and look like ear buds. The packaging and additional items included (extra ear bud tips, cord, ear bud cleaner) were very nice. The charging case is great, and the battery life is awesome. The hearing aids offer different levels of amplification and are pretty easy to control (turn on and off, adjust volume, etc.). This is the white color version. The case is a charging case so it'll charge both sides when not in use. Take 3 to 4 hours to fully charge the box and hearing aides. They should last 20 hours. They only take 45 minutes to charge the hearing aides in the charging box. Nicely built. Comes with a usb C charging cord for charging the case with the built in battery. Should last 300+/- cycles of charging and discharging. Has 6 volume levels. Easily controlled with the single side button: on/off and volume control. Adjust to your liking. . My husband has tried other products similar to this one and has hated them. He has trouble hearing the TV unless the volume is turned up very loud. He loves these. The ear buds are small and comfortable to wear. He said he is able to hear everything clearly when he is wearing them.
