I am honestly surprised by how well my dogs have taken to this vacuum. I picked it up on Christmas, and it’s already made a huge difference in the shedding around the house. The design is really sleek and compact, but the actual waste container is big—definitely the largest capacity I found in this price range. The ease of use is a big win for me because there was basically no setup required, and switching between the different tools is a breeze. I also love that it comes with a dedicated tray to keep everything organized. The noise level is impressively quiet—at least on the first setting. It’s quiet enough that my dogs adapted almost immediately. Now they basically think vacuum time equals a "doggie massage" and belly rubs lol. I will say, if you crank it up to the highest suction power setting, it does get pretty loud, and my dogs definitely don't appreciate that as much. I usually just stick to the lower levels and it still picks up plenty of hair. For around $50, the value for money here is great compared to some of the high-end name brands. It’s a solid, high-quality kit that doesn't take up a ton of space. If you have doggos who are a bit nervous, the quiet low setting should get them used to it without being overwhelming. Besides that, the hose is long enough that the machine can sit further away from you and your dog, which also helps.

I am beyond thrilled with how well this machine works! I have two dogs: a German shepherd and a bichon/yorkie. For the GSD, I wanted something to help handle his fur shedding and this worked great. He doesn’t love the sound/sucking, but he still let me brush him with it easily. I used the massage brush and then the slicker style brush on him. It did clog once in the handle, but was easy to clear out when I realized what happened. The volume level sounds similar to a vacuum and I wouldn’t consider it overly quiet. I only ever used it on the lowest setting until he acclimated. For the borkie I wanted this for the grooming capability. He’s 17 years old, 13lbs, and does not like clippers because of the vibration and snagging. The sound doesn’t bother him much because he’s mostly deaf. This seriously cut my grooming time in 1/3 of the time. His hair usually clogs the trimmed blades, is difficult to get through, and he doesn’t sit still. This fixed ALL of that. It sucks the fur in whiles it’s cutting and makes it cut so much smoother. He looks great and wasn’t a shaking, anxious mess like he normally is. I love that it comes with a stand for everything, but it’s a bit bulky and I’m not sure where to store it all. Overall I’m ecstatic with this purchase and it was one of the lower priced machines in here!

Baptist, for my mother for Christmas. She has 2 cats in a dog. One of the cats has more hair than you could possibly imagine. And this is great for in between groomings, she loves it and the cat likes, it feels like a massage. It's a little bit loud but used to it after a while. It seems like it's well made and you got it on sale.So it was a good price

I’ve had this for 2 weeks, and I would say I am 90% satisfied with this purchase. Great option for those interested in cooperative care for their pets I have 2 long haired dogs that are heavy shedders (Great Pyrenees) and I find this to be a great addition to my care routine for my pets. Additionally, I have a SO who is allergic to dogs, and I think the dander that we are able to capture using this while grooming, has improved our life and increased the frequency of grooming sessions (since I am not worried about exacerbating their allergies) Pros: every attachment has a useful feature for a pet pawrents needs - my favorite is the deshedding comb, and the carpet tool (though it’s not the best carpet tool I have) Its size, weight and portability - allows me to tote to around the house with ease. If you know a little about my dog’s genetics, you know that I have to work with their preference due to their size and nature. The ease of cleanup after - the filter and tank are so easy to clean and maintain between sessions. I almost love this as much as my Dyson - (which BTW my dogs hate) Cons: It’s NOT low-noise. However, it is not too loud either. I can have a loud conversation with someone next to me when I am grooming them if that gives you an understanding. I had to really provide HIGH value treats, and slowly work my way up to so that my pets allow me near them with it turned on. I am extremely fortunate that my dogs are extremely “treat” motivated, and love to get my attention which is why they tolerate the noise (at its lowest setting at the moment), but I want to be clear that not every pet will tolerate the noise. It even overstimulates me, and I can’t imagine how it’s for a dog with better hearing than me. If my SOs allergies weren’t improving due to its use/ease, I would not recommend it at all. I would’ve invested in a high-velocity hair drier instead to deshed my dogs during baths - which they hate anyway - and get the unpleasantness of necessary grooming in one session instead of having to put them through this noise every 3 or so days. Tank capacity is not large - but my dogs are LONG haired, shed 24/7/365 days, and right after I groom them. It’s not a deal breaker.

My dog is about 12 years old. I have a cavalier, King Charles spaniel and his fur gets very long so we have to shave him at least twice a year we have gone through so many clippers scissors all that crap but this thing is the best thing I’ve ever used for haircuts. My dog actually sat still and didn’t fight me while doing his fur this time. It’s super nice because it lifts the fur up and then you’re able to cut it without touching the skin.

This review is exactly correct. Everything I wanted to address is right here. The only thing I want to mention is the 3rd time I attempted to use the clippers on my dog. They no longer would cut the hair. I can only assume the plastic blade was no longer sharp enough to cut her hair. She only weights 7 pounds. It's not really that much hair. Why they would ruin something that could be a great item with a plastic blade amazes me. Anyway read this review because its spot on.... I really wanted to like this gadget—my dog, however, has filed a formal complaint. The ad claims it hums along at a calm 50 decibels. My Apple Watch begs to differ, clocking it at 85–96 decibels, which is basically a rock concert for your poodle. By day two, the clippers started to produce a lovely clicking sound that scared my pup even more. For comparison, my regular human hair trimmers are whisper-quiet next to this jet engine (Maybe not a jet engine, but certainly as loud as my hair dryer).So yes, I fully understand why my dog is scared of these clippers. On the bright side, the vacuum suction is plenty strong to suck up the hair as you go. Unfortunately, the noise the suction makes coming out of the clippers is part of the reason they are so loud. However, it is unavoidable because the clippers only run when the vacuum is on. That means there’s no way to quietly trim around sensitive spots like the face or ears. Add to that a short hose that forces you to keep the whole contraption on the counter (right next to the dog instead of tucked neatly on the floor), and you’re in for some loud and awkward maneuvering. Then there’s the blade design. Most clippers have two sturdy metal blades you can sharpen. These have one metal blade paired with a plastic blade...that's right, half the blade is made out of plastic (which is why I don’t expect longevity). Bottom line: I’ve only used them twice, however I’d suggest finding a quieter model with a longer hose and metal blades. Your shaggy little friend will thank you.

I have a German Shepard and he absolutely loves this! I thought he would run away or be scared of it, because he can be a scaredy but instead he runs towards it rubbing on me like a cat while I’m getting it ready. It has great suction power, my favorite part is pressing the button on the attachment, watching the hair get sucked away. I think to myself “all this hair would be in my house” 🤣 The canister is good size and never need to empty more than once. The suction power is amazing and having a Shepard, I love there is an attachment for regular brushing AND a special attachment for his second coat that normal brushes do not get to. It comes with a furnisher cleaner attachment, and a hair trimmer with different sized heads to put on for the hair length. When I turn it on it is not loud at all. If you deciding or on the fence, I highly recommend! It’s a well made product.
