I am typically a review reader, not writer. However, this product is so good, I felt compelled to share my experience. I ordered the Afloia Dog Grooming Kit last night. It arrived as scheduled early this morning. I quickly & easily assembled it and got straight to work on turning my shaggy pup into the Casanova of the dog park. Let's back this up for a minute... I have a 2-year-old male shih tzu who HATES to be groomed... (Or should I say, he used to hate being groomed!). The hair on this breed grows pretty quickly and can easily become a tangled mess if you do not stay on top of maintenance. As the temperatures rise, my boy needs to be trimmed every 3 weeks. Growing tired of the battle (and then clean up) of trimming him by hand, I decided to order the Afloia Dog Grooming Kit per the recommendation of a woman I met at the dog park. Not going to lie, my little fella wasn't having it at first. But, about 5 minutes in, when he realized it didn't hurt and I was getting the knots out, he laid right down in my lap and let me trim his entire body. As I previously stated, I usually trim him by hand. This was so much easier and certainly less stressful. And BONUS, b/c it sucks up the hair as you go, the clean-up time when I was finished with his trim was also painless. I was so jazzed up on how well this worked on the dog, I decided to push my luck and groomed the cat right after. The kitty LIVES to be brushed but is not a fan of loud noises or suction. I was honestly shocked that he too laid down in my lap and let me groom him without incident. So far, this nifty unit is worth every penny. I highly recommend. I 100% thought this wouldn’t work and I would send it back. WRONG. This product was amazing on my 3 shaggy English setters. They weren’t bothered at all by the noise and all say (or laid, 1 is 11 years old) while I trimmed them. And zero mess. I repeat ZERO MESS. You won’t regret buying this. Easy to use. Makes a noise but pretty quiet. All attachments work. Comfortable for me to use. Hose length is nice. Shavers are sharp and brush (again, dogs loved this) was soft. decided to groom my golden retriever for the first time vs booking a grooming appointment ultimately spending twice as much. This unit served every purpose as advertised, canister is on the smaller size but considering my limitation on storage space, I intentionally purchased the 1.5. Suction has 3 levels and very suffice with no mess to clean. Very nice unit, this is a great piece for a maintenance tool to keep your dogs groomed in between groomer appointments, It works well and is well built. We have Australian Shepherd dogs and and this grooming tool worked fine, if I were to recommend anything the the vacuum could be bigger with additional suction, and that the wireless grooming tool would last longer than a couple of hours on a charge. ... show more

This grooming kit is amazing. I have a Yorkie and usually bring him to a groomer just to get all of his hair cut off. This runs me $60 every time. I purchased this and it is so easy to us and has paid for itself in just 2 hair cuts. It even gets between the pads of his paws and trims around his ears and on the inside surface of his ears. The only thing that is not up to par is the nail trimmer sander. It does not have enough grit so I have to clip my dogs nails separately. The vacuum is fairly quiet even on the highest setting and the clippers last the whole time without needing to be recharged even with the fine tune trimming. I would highly recommend this to everyone who has a dog that they take to the groomer for just a regular hair cut with no special cuts. Buy this today if this is you. ... show more

My daughter bought this and we’ve been borrowing hers. I finally got my own lol. This thing is awesome! The clippers are cordless (charge with usb) and have different heads for different purposes (large for body coat, small for paws etc, nail file). The clippers also attach to a vacuum hose so the hair gets sucked away and doesn’t fly all over. The vacuum has various settings. It’s not loud and doesn’t bother my dogs at all. I have two Cavaliers and they have very dense thick fur. These clippers have absolutely no trouble grooming them. There are lots of attachments. I can’t recommend this enough. ... show more
