If I had started clipping my clean ponies when these arrived, I would have returned them. "Useless as tits on a boar pig" as my dad would have said! I started the first pony's coat, and an fter only a few swipes it wouldn't/couldn't cut a pony's winter coat. I used blade spray every 5 min. Still useless. Keep shopping!!! ... show more

I purchased this about a year ago to use on my dogs. It cuts good and the best, it stays cooler than all steel blades. There is one drawback. Do not drop. The ceramic slider blade can break, the reason I am on this page again. I have cut a WH griffon mix, schnoodle and standard poodle with no problem. These have been awesome. I used them on our show goats. You cant beat the quality for the great price. Ive clipped my whole herd 2 times with them so safe to say they last and are sharp. These dont get near as hot as other brands i have which is so nice for the animals and my clippers. They're easy to use just like any other a5 style blade.
