I’ve been grooming my doodles every couple months for over ten years and this is the best blade I’ve had. It cuts consistently and doesn’t leave any little long bunches or bits. Compared to this, I’ve been grooming my dogs with a push mower from 1955.

I have a couple of different blades for my dog clippers. I love using the metal blades without the guard , they cut so smooth. Just like the other blades, these do get warm, so I rotate them. This blade cuts good. One thing I didn’t notice when I bought it was that the back blade is plastic. It does show that in the picture of the product, I just didn’t notice it. I needed the blade so I didn’t have time to send it back. I think my blades that don’t have plastic on them are a little smoother, but I am still happy with it. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been a groomer for 26yrs. All my other blade brands I’ve purchased can be sharpened when they need it. These dragged thru the hair from the start … all 3 of them. My blade sharpener guy that I e used for years said they don’t even throw a spark when he tries to sharpen them…he says that every groomer he has worked for that buys this brand ends up not liking them. They can not sharpen!!!! He can sharpen ALL OF MY ITGER BLADE BRANDS like zoolitta, Andis, Oster, but these won’t sharpen. Total waste of my money… poor cutting results from the start on all 3 blades. ... show more

I was using a 7FC but my dog always looked skinned after her cut. The 5FC is a quarter inch longer and now she looks like a groomer cut her. One set of blades lasts for about ten cuts and I can't seem to sharpen them correctly, so I buy more blades. One trip to the groomer is $150, so a $30 blade is a bargain. ... show more

If I could give these zero stars, I would. I knew I was taking a risk ordering Andis, but I needed a #30 blade quickly. These blades are dull straight out of the package and pull on the fur. Andis used to be my go-to, but now it’s worse than generic brands.
