This is the best clipper I have ever used it is very strong. it is fairly quite a really nice sound level. it is a bit heavier then other andis clippers but not by much. it does heat up a little fast but not the fastest I have seen. the battery life is good But got it for personal use so I don't know how well it would hold up for use in a grooming salon but it feels like it would be good. And my whal attachment comes works really well on it and for blades I only have andis blades so idk if it would work with other brands but I assume so ... show more

I am a Professional groomer for almost 8 years and I have to say this was the first nice nice pair of clippers I bought for myself. I have been doing most of my work with a five in one and attachment combs. My first day today using these NEW CLIPPERS was like a dream come true. I’ve been using a loud pair of wahl clippers with a cord for almost 3 years and before that had a lime green wahl two speed for 2 years and before that I had the blue Andis given by petsmart. Edit to one star. Less than a month later and the clipper won’t turn off unless I take the battery out. Don’t buy this product from Amazon. Spend the extra money and buy it from Andis where you can get a warranty. Product works great but it was never disclosed to me that I was buying a used item. The clipper blade was dirty and the clipper had hair in it. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this seller ... show more

I groom my standard poodles myself and I love my Andis clippers. The battery life lasted for all three of my dogs. They keep their charge for hours. This is my second pair of Andis! I use this pet version clipper in the barbershop as it has a stronger motor and runs faster than the human version. If you're a barber or stylist doing alot of clippercuts buy this pet version and dont waste your time with the human version of this clipper.

I have four dogs that have thick long fur. I've tried all levels of clippers and this one seems to be the one that actually mows through the thick double coat of my four Aussies. I suggest a 3FW blade which has a wider blade and cuts much cleaner. The next test is longevity which I'll share when I get to a year. Battery life was about 2 hours on a larger dof before it went out which at that point I did wish it had a plug in to finish cut. I had to use a spare to finish the rest while I recharged. This is why I gave a 4 star vs. 5 star. Pricey but worth it since cutting four dogs pays off the initial investment. Quiet motor. ... show more

Good pair of clippers! They’re definitely a bit on the heavier side, but I adjusted to them pretty quickly. Not too loud, easy to use. The battery lasts decently well, doesn’t take too long to charge. Haven’t had any issues so far; almost my whole salon uses these.
