I groom our Yorkies myself and have gotten good enough at it that friends and family now ask me to groom their dogs too. At that point I figured it was probably time to upgrade my clippers, and I could not be more impressed with this Mellow set. The first thing I noticed was how SHARP the #10 blade is. With my older clippers I would find myself going back over the same areas several times trying to get an even cut. These go through the hair cleanly, so I am not constantly retracing the same spots. That alone makes grooming so much quicker, especially when you have more than one dog waiting for their turn. I also like how lightweight these feel in my hand. When you are doing an entire groom, a heavy clipper gets tiring pretty quickly. Having two speeds gives me a little more control depending on what area I am working on, and being cordless means I am not fighting a cord around a wiggly dog. The set is nicely put together too. It includes the different guards, charging cable and even a good-sized bottle of clipper blade oil. I especially love that everything has its own spot in the zippered carrying case. I can keep the whole grooming setup together instead of hunting through a drawer for guards and accessories. Pro: Very sharp #10 blade, lightweight, cordless, two speeds, Type-C charging, multiple guards, blade oil included, and a nice zippered storage case. Most importantly, I am getting a clean cut without repeatedly going over the same areas. Con: I really do not have one at this point. Just be aware that the blade is genuinely sharp, so take your time around delicate areas, especially if you are new to grooming. If you groom your own dogs regularly and are ready to move up from basic pet clippers, this set has made a noticeable difference in how quickly I can get through a groom.

This shaver works fairly well, the only issue i had was that the mechanism to take the shaver head on and off got stuck really bad so I'm no longer going to take it off to clean. Hooefully it doesn't have any more issues

This clipper is so lightweight and short yet can really cut through hair, especially on the second speed. I have been using it all week at my pet grooming job and my arm does not get fatigued with this clipper. It is only 12.66 oz with the 10 blade on. It is also short, which makes grooming short dogs so much easier. I can get around their legs, especially their back inside legs. It is also easier to get into tricky areas like the armpits, belly, face, head, and sanitary area because it is smaller. It is very quiet, so it does not scare anxious dogs and puppies. I can put it on the first speed and dogs hardly react. The 10 blade it comes with cuts hair very well and makes hardly any noise. The brushless motor increases speed when there is thick or matted hair to get through. It can be charged with a USB-C cord, a laptop, a power bank, or the cord plugged into a wall outlet with the included adapter. It came charged and ready to go. It has lasted all day grooming around five dogs. It only takes a couple of hours to fully charge. It is the most ergonomic clipper I own, being lightweight and having a soft rubberized handle. I can groom faster with this clipper because clipping is more efficient due to its lightness, and my arm does not get tired. It comes with a blade drive replacement, a USB-C charging cord, a wall adapter, a bottle of oil, a brush that works great at cleaning hair off the blades and clipper, and a case to carry it all in. FuzzyFix has become my new favorite clipper company. All of their products I have tried have exceeded my expectations. They are innovative and have great ergonomic new grooming tools. I highly recommend the Mellow clipper, along with their other products.

I’m a professional groomer with 21 years of experience, so I’m pretty hard on clippers and I’ve used most of the big-name professional brands. I’ve been using these for about 2 weeks now and so far I’m really impressed with them. The first thing I really like is the size. They’re small and easy to handle, which is nice when you’re grooming all day. They’re also USB-C rechargeable, which is really convenient. I was able to get through 7 full haircuts today before I needed to recharge them. They’re also pretty quiet, which is a big plus in a grooming salon, especially with nervous dogs. They have enough power for regular grooming and have been working well for me so far. For a clipper that costs quite a bit less than some of the professional brands I normally use, they honestly seem to perform just as well in a lot of situations. They are also compatible with a5 detachable clipper blades and attachment combs. A few things to keep in mind: they do take a while to fully charge, and they’re not quite as fast as some of my other professional clippers. They also feel a little heavier to me than my usual clippers, even though they’re small. I can’t really speak to long term durability yet since I’ve only been using them for two weeks, but so far they’ve definitely exceeded my expectations for the price. If they hold up over time, I’d consider these a really good budget friendly option for professional grooming.

These FuzzyFix Mellow Professional Dog Clippers work well for keeping your pups groomed and looking their best. At only 359 grams, the clippers feel noticeably lighter than many comparable models. That lighter weight can make a big difference when you're grooming multiple pets or spending an extended amount of time holding the clippers. The body has a sleek design and is comfortable and easy to handle. There are two speed settings, 3,200 and 3,800 RPM, allowing you to choose a lower speed for lighter grooming or increase the speed when working through thicker coats and more detailed areas. The outer-rotor brushless motor also automatically increases power when it encounters thicker fur. The clippers recharge with a USB-C cable. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge and provides up to 4 hours of cordless use. One feature I particularly like is being able to use the same USB-C cable used for other devices, such as a cellphone or power bank. This means fewer cords to pack when traveling or grooming away from home. The light pink color is another nice touch because it makes the clippers easy to spot. They also come with their own storage case that neatly holds the clippers, blade oil, charging cord, blade, and blade brush. These clippers feel like a big step up from the basic pet grooming clippers I've used before. They have a solid, professional feel in the hand without being overly heavy, and the shape is comfortable to hold while working through a grooming session. I also really like the pink color, which is a fun change from the typical black grooming tools. The cordless design makes grooming so much easier. I'm not fighting with a cord or trying to keep it out of the way while moving around my dog. The two-speed option is useful as well, especially when moving between different areas of the coat. The clippers run smoothly and feel powerful without being excessively cumbersome. I also appreciate that the blade is detachable. Being able to remove it makes cleaning and maintenance much more convenient, and the included blade oil and cleaning brush are useful additions. The set even comes with a storage case, so everything can stay together between grooming sessions instead of ending up scattered around a cabinet. Charging through USB-C is another feature I really like. I already have USB-C chargers around the house, so it's much more convenient than having to keep track of another proprietary charging cable. These are definitely more of an investment than an inexpensive set of pet clippers, but the overall construction and thoughtful design feel much more substantial. Grooming a dog at home every other week requires a dependable tool, and the solid weight and feel of this heavy-duty pet clipper immediately verify its high-end build quality. Out of the box, the device arrives charged and includes a convenient charger and cable, alongside handy extras like razor oil, a great carrying case and a cleaning brush. However, the package lacks different size blade guards for adjusting hair length, which might catch some users off guard. Personal at-home grooming results tend to look a bit questionable regardless so maybe not having guards is not a big deal. While the motor and design feel robust, casual pet owners may struggle to notice any functional difference between this premium model and a significantly cheaper alternative. Given the high price tag on this set, everyday home groomers might not find the extra cost entirely justified unless they possess professional training. Great product though.
