It's great to be able to brush my GS without hair flying everywhere, and he actually LIKES me using it on him! It's quiet, so doesn't scare him- or make him want to attack it lol. Sure, you need to empty it often, but that's not a problem for me. I tried attaching a picture of the hair collected after the first time using it, but apparently I'm not as technosavvy as I thought. No regrets buying this, and have recommended it to many of my friends!

We have three dogs and three cats and they all shed. The vacuum doesn't scare them and it really does work. The clippers are handy for trimming fuzzy behinds. Our Great Pyrenees looks forward to being brushed the most. She closes her eyes and enjoys the moment.

I auditioned a few of these trying to find the right fit of design versus function versus ergonomics and I like this Kato Kadio one a lot! Super smart self-storage on the cord (and kind of on the hose, but I've yet to get it to stay put). Has a powered hose, so your trimmer is powered by the unit - no separate charging - and I like that. Does a good job suctioning up the fuzz - a bath after the buzz left a LOT less fur around the tub with this unit. Pretty dang quiet, too, which some of your pets will demand (old and going deaf SOMETIMES pays off in a pet you're trying to groom - ha!). Petite form factor, but good suction. Also very much appreciate the very good filtration with the vacuum. When you're vacuuming after a haircut, there are so, so many little tiny fuzzies that could quickly render your regular vac or a less filtered vac unusable. This is well-filtered and the filters are easy to clean. Easy to dump the vac container, too. 100% appreciate that the air intake is side to side versus from the bottom (one I auditioned ventilated on the bottom and I had concerns re overheating). This one has side ventilation, so you'll be fine. Also can't believe how handy these are! Long ago I did a regular trim and follow-up vacuum with my restless pup on the table, and I swear, years and years later we're still finding little bits of hair. VACUUM THE HAIR WHEN YOU CUT IT AND SAVE YOURSELF! Seriously - it's a huge difference maker. After a nice little grooming session, you might find a little leftover fuzz on surfaces, etc., but not very much. Proximity of the intake does a good job of grabbing fur. The trimmers are poodle-good, collie-OK. I wouldn't try to take a super furry dog down to a shave with it, but it will tidy up a bigger dog or do a full groom on a smaller dog, just be sure to empty the container frequently so the filter stays clear. Really happy! FIVE STARS!

Easy to use. Best haircut I ever gave my maltipoo. The vacuum pulls the hair up while you are cutting so it's a more even haircut. Little cleanup because all the hair goes in the vacuum
