Haws watering cans have been a fixture in English gardens since 1886, the year that Londoner John Haws patented his unique design for a "watering pot" with perfect balance. This small, well-balanced, mini version of the classic Haws watering can is made of injection molded plastic.. It has a round brass faced rose that is removable. Used for indoor plant watering especially orchids, African Violets and for watering seedlings. Over the last 125 years the Haws name has become known as the makers of the finest watering cans used throughout the world. Gardeners know that a Haws watering can is the best whether it's made in metal or plastic. 700 ml capacity, green. Made in England.

I left some water in the can to save for next time I watered. It leaked all over the drywall ledge it was on and discolored the area. Shouldn't a watering can hold the water you put in it? Cheap. Doesn't look very good either - cheap plastic, not something you really want out in the room near your plants. I would not purchase another one. ... show more

This cheery bright yellow watering can is a joy to use. It is light in weight, but sturdy, and holds just enough water. I had previously been using a larger stainless steel watering can, and this Haws watering can is so much easier to use.

Brass sieve plate on removable cone nozzle creates very fine, gentle shower that does not disturb soil surface or delicate new seedlings. Cone fits snugly on end of spout without leakage, and cone "keeper" knob on front arm prevents loss of cone when using the spout alone for bottom or higher volume watering. The balance could be a little better, but on the whole this is a sturdy, well-made product that does exactly what it claims to do. ... show more
