Love the look and use it for recycling so cannot advise on whether it contains orders well bc only dry items are going in it. My one note is that the inner handle tends to get stuck on the bag when removing it to change bags. It’s a minor inconvenience but it is a tad annoying. Could be a nice improvement. The can's style fits perfectly with the style my wife is going for, that 60's, 70's midcentury modern look. I needed a can by my bar that wasn't an office wastebasket, but not a full blown kitchen trashcan. This fits the bill beautifully, definitely worth the cost. Actually love the can itself.. bought 3 in different colors for garbage sorting. Great finish, looks good and clean. Takes up very little floor space. The right size bags are a little hard to find if you want compost friendly bags, but recycling and trash bags were fairly easy to find. Trash bag can be a little difficult to remove but holding down the bar that's used to remove the bin from the can helps with that fairly easily. My problem is that I paid $125 for this great trash can that has plastic parts in the petal that broke in less than 3 months and now to replace it I have to shell out another $125 because it's only got a 30 day warranty on parts. That's the only reason I gave it 1 star instead of 5 honestly. 2 out of the 3 cans are still fine, but I'm not sure I want to spend another $99 (cybermonday deal) to get another trash can that's only gonna last a few months. Wish I could just get a replacement part from the manufacturer. Would be willing to change my review to 5 stars if they would replace the trash can or even 4 stars for just the pedal - unfortunately there's not even a way to get a hold of them. ... show more

This trash can is as described. the only 1 thing that bothers me , is it slides on the floor and the lid pops up and hits the wall when you press the foot lever , I placed a cat food dish behind it so it doesn't slide up against the wall now . so far so good , about 1 month having it . it looks nice in my kitchen , that important as well as it functioning well. , and it does. ... show more

First, the color “white” is not a true appliance white - it’s ivory. Second, the DESIGN IS NOT GOOD. The capacity is small and tall liner bags are too big. Thirdly, there is NO HOLE in the pull out plastic bucket for extra liner material to be pulled taut. I had to drill a hole in the plastic insert. Retro design is cute and it’s compact for small places. Lastly, this trash can moves easily on the floor. I anchored it with double sided tape.
