    • Best Tea Kettle I ever had!
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
This tea kettle works very well for me. It heats quickly and keeps the water hot for awhile. Also, I especially appreciate the automatic shut off and the exterior window to see from the outside how much water is in the kettle. The lid functions well. I think this kettle is safer than using one on top of the stove and it frees up the stove. ... show more

    • Heats very quickly. Better than any pot on the stove.
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
We use this a lot everyday. Coffee and tea. Instant ramen. Easy to read water level. Auto shut off. Basic, efficient design.

    • It's a good one.
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
1st day of use = awersome ! Works well pretty fast. Looks nice. So far so good. * This one seems fine just remember - it's the (electrical circle stands) which is the weakest this part of the kettle. * But they all seem to have that cheap design.

    • Great value! Lasted 9 years
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
Lasted 9+ years; the lid latching mechanism eventually failed and could not be opened. Used multiple times per week to heat water for cooking rice, pasta, soups, and making tea. Fast to boil, and usable capacity is as advertised!

    • Exactly what I was looking for!
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
I have a friend who doesn't have a coffee pot. I can't imagine that, myself. However, she has an electric kettle and keeps an assortment of teas, hot chocolate mixes, and instant coffee available for her guests. There are many times that I want tea or coffee and don't have the need to make a full pot, so a kettle is a nice way to allow me to do that. Sure, I can heat water in the microwave, but that can be tedious, especially if you are making more than one cup. Yes, I'll admit it. I had kettle envy. So, I decided to start looking for a kettle of my own. I had a couple of requirements: I did not want a plastic kettle, it needed to have automatic shutoff, and it needed to heat water quickly. I came across this little guy and it fit the bill perfectly. All of my appliances are stainless or black, so this kettle looks nice on my counter, and is available to heat up water at any time. I have teenagers, so they are always using boiling water for soups and noodles and whatever else, and this works very well for that. I use it for tea, instant coffee, and to make coffee in my french press. It is so convenient! The water heats up so quickly, even faster than I expected. It doesn't make noise when the water is ready, but you can hear the water boiling, and you can hear the kettle making a click sound when the water is heated. I have owned several products from Hamilton Beach, and have always been pleased with them. I associate Hamilton Beach with quality, and this kettle does not disappoint. It feels very sturdy. Filled with water, it can have some weight to it, but it isn't too bad. It is about the same weight as a full pot of coffee. The outside of the kettle can get very hot, but the handle stays cool, which I like. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the water stayed warm afterward. My friend saw this on my counter and could not believe that I paid about the same amount for my kettle as she did for her plastic one. I guess now she has kettle envy! I imagine she will be purchasing this model very soon. ... show more

    • Works great.
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
Heats fast and works well. I like the volume amount window on the side to view the amount of water.

    • Quality product at good price
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
I should have bought one of these years ago. They are easier, faster, and safer than a stovetop kettle and this Hamilton Beach is well priced and good quality. My only complaint really isn't the fault of the manufacturer but it's an annoyance none the less. I prefer to use filtered water from my refrigerator and it's a difficult fit to get the kettle underneath the spigot in the front of the fridge. I spilled a lot of water before figuring out the proper positioning of the kettle. That issue aside, I highly recommend. ... show more

    • Worked from 2022 until now.
Color: BPA Free, Stainless Steel Size: 1.8 Quarts
Bought in 2022, used on average 2-3 uses daily often a full pot each time. No leaks, worked great until recently when it now intermittently will not heat. All in all, lifetime use was well worth the cost. Stainless is still stainless after 4 years.
