I had my reservations on buying this package of parts. I was concerned that the parts were going to be sub standard and ill fitting. For the price, I had not much to lose. I was certainly wrong in my assumption. . Everything worked perfect. Installation and fit of the parts and start up was flawless. It could not have been easier. I purchased this Butom carburetor kit to replace a failing carb on my Honda GX270 engine. The price is unbeatable and the kit includes everything needed: the carburetor, air filter, spark plug, fuel line, gaskets, and even a fuel shutoff valve. After installation, the engine started up smoothly and ran well with only minor tuning required. Pros: • Affordable complete kit • Good build quality • Compatible with Honda GX240/GX270 engines • Includes essential extras (air filter, gaskets, spark plug) Cons: • Slight tuning required for optimal performance • Gasket alignment can be a bit tricky • Air filter isn’t quite OEM quality, but still decent ⸻ Installation Instructions (Step-by-Step): Tools Needed: • Socket wrench set (10mm and 12mm sockets) • Flathead screwdriver • Pliers • Clean rag or towel • Fuel container (to drain old fuel) Steps: 1. Safety First: Turn off the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and shut off the fuel valve (or clamp the line if one isn’t installed yet). 2. Drain Fuel: Use a clean container to drain any remaining fuel from the tank and carburetor bowl. Open the drain screw if needed. 3. Remove Old Carburetor: • Remove the air filter cover and element. • Disconnect the fuel line and throttle linkage carefully (use pliers to loosen clamps). • Unscrew the nuts securing the carburetor to the intake manifold. • Gently pull off the carburetor and remove old gaskets. 4.
