  • Try to make this short lol! I love this hutch!
Pattern Name: 2 Story
So, I do realize it says rabbit, however, we are not using it for rabbits, we are using it for a classier looking night time go to for our ferrets. This layout is way better than any ferret cage I saw! Trust me, I have only been looking DAILY ALL DAY, for a month now! Finally settled on this! One, the layout is cooler with the two ramps, I can hide their stinky litter box I. The upper closed off room so it contains the smell a little better, and also ferrets poop and litter box is just a nasty eye sore and all their cages seem to be wide open wire ALL THE TIME, and they like to go I. Corners and that isn’t cool with an all wire cage. Yes, I am aware I can get fitted shields to prevent fences landing on my floor constantly when they decide to be a$$holes and use their litter box as a bed instead of a bathroom! Ugh! But the prices on those are ridiculous and again, doesn’t stop us from smelling and seeing it, so this was perfect. Now, with that said the space is great and enough in length without being too big and taking up a whole Room! And it looks nice (besides the hideous paint job they did. Consider repainting it like I did) with that said, this is MOT WATERPROOF by any means if you take it outside and it rains, it will in fact fall apart! If it. Know how or why they list it as a waterproof paint because it isn’t waterproof! Maybe because they did the thinnest coat possible Idk. So, we repainted it and then we did seal it with a water proof sealer because again, if the ferrets poop on wall, it will not be cool trying to scrub out soaked in feces. So PLEASE SEALCOAT IT, if it’s going to be outside. I seal coat regardless because small animals do get things wet sometimes, and you don’t want smells soaking into the wood. It also helps strengthen the wood. Just throwing it out there. Also, this wood is thinner and cheaper so BE CAREFUL when drilling in your screws and make sure they are STRAIGHT or it will in fact crack the wood. Don't drill too much either sometimes just enough os better! Also, yes, it says rabbit hutch, however. If you are a long time rabbit and Guiana pig owner, you will know that they BOTH chew wood to trim their teeth! So, why they made a whole a$$ home made particularly for a RABBIT out of wood, MAKES NOW SENSE TO ME! Prepare for it to be ruined rather fast. Thats just common Knowledge. I mean sir where put metal here and there, however, Any little spot that doesn’t have metal will be chewed and destroyed! So again, for those animals and animals like them, this is a waste for you just saying. But other than that this was THE EASIEST PROJECT me and my hubby put together without even fighting lol! And we had it done in 42 min. So, we had seen some reviews that said it took hours? Like how! I could put this together with our the instructions by just matching up the holes! So that’s a big win! And it’s so much cuter than a typical cage. So, this is my review! Besides the idk 5 hours I put into sealing it and repainting it I think this was a win. I mean hell, you can’t even buy half the supplies to build a cage like this for the 148.00 I paid for the cage and it minimizes the planning and a lot of work and time! So, I say get this if you have a pet that won’t destroy it for its def worth it. Dont blame the company for your rabbit chewing it when you should’ve known rabbits chew wood! Idk what else to say for that! But be prepared to fix the paint job because it is HORRIBLE! My 7 yr old can paint better! lol. But anyways anyone who read this hope this helps you out! Good luck! ... show more

  • Some Bunny loves it!
Pattern Name: 2 Story
The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble. Ease of use. Trays are fragile and are not intended to support heavy items. They may crack easily. Other than that, we roll this unit from one room to another. We opted to omit the center interior wall. Bunny is long and likes to stretch out.

  • DANGEROUS DO NOT BUY
Pattern Name: 2 Story
I went out to feed my buns this morning, I HAD two holland lops. One of them was able to push the top lid up, and he got his head out & the lid became too heavy and killed him. I’d post pictures but they are very disturbing. Please do not buy this cage until they make the hinges stronger so a bun can not push it up, or they modify it with a top latch. Putting it together was sort of easy, but a lot of the pieces of wood splintered and split. Some pieces came split and splintered from the pre holes drilled. It’s just a very crappy product all together. And now I have a dead bun. I should have returned it when I wanted to cause the splintered pieces but I needed a cage cause my dogs were bugging my buns when they would be in the play pen. ... show more

  • Great quality, and durable.
The foldable is quite easy to put together! It has plenty of space, and is easy to quickly pack up to move! Overall it’s great for the price. My rabbit enjoys chewing on everything in it, however, what else can you expect from something made of wood. it’s not a forever home for your rabbit, that should be around your house… However, it’s a good place for them to go to sleep and know it’s their territory and “bedroom”… It brings a strong scent of wood in, so some rabbits may be quite skid-dish due to the unfamiliar scent. Overall I would recommend this product, especially if you want something easy to move! (I specifically bought the foldable one, where there was minimal screws to put in, and instead just clips to hold it together, it’s very durable.) ... show more

  • It’s Good But Could Be Much Better
Pattern Name: 2 Story
Pros: cute hutch, real wood, easy to assemble (with a drill), size is decent for one large rabbit or maybe two small critters. Doors open in different directions for access. Decent casters/wheels and hardware. Cons: the large tray on the bottom can be pushed all the way through because there is nothing on or in the back to stop it. Overall the trays are wonky - slightly warped and you have to jiggle and shimmy them in and out to fit right. The hard plastic tray liners are glued down to the wood trays. This seems pretty stupid to me because I want to be able to spray the liners out to deep clean periodically but I can’t do that without getting the wood wet. The metal hay holder is meant to be screwed into the side of the hutch but I think it would be better to have the option to hang it somewhere so the holder can be removed and cleaned. Some of the doors seem wonky and don’t fit exactly right. With daily use, I assume the doors are going to need tightening or hardware replacements. Overall I am happy with this hutch but the quality is on the low side for the price, especially when you factor in daily use, animal waste, liquid, and an animal constantly chewing. The flimsy dividers that fit inside of the hutch will most likely be eaten within the first month. I am hoping this hutch will last, but I cannot say for certain that it will still be suitable for the longevity of a rabbit’s lifespan. ... show more

  • Not as bad as the reviews say
Pattern Name: 2 Runs
As a lot of the reviews do mention, this does have a strong smell once you open it. it’s a chemically smell, but once it sits for a little while, it goes away. my piggies love it. They even utilize the loft and they haven’t done so in previous homes

  • Best hut for guineas
We house 2 guinea pigs in this house. We connect it to an outdoor run since the inside isn't enough room for them to run and play. But it is perfect for bedtime and when we need to separate them. Since this is wood if they don't have something to chew on they will eat the enclosure. This is the second one from this company we have bought and it'll be the one we buy next time too. ... show more
